eoltmer
Found this little tidbit interesting. I wonder how much this is going to effect team chemistry and timing when you have spring break cutting your training at the mid point. Especially when you are going to have 4 new coaches added to the team and they need all the time they can get heading into a new confrence. NU will open spring drills on March 12, which is the earliest they've started spring practice in recent history. The reasoning behind the move is the UNL's spring break falls a week later this year from March 20-27 and the Red-White game is set for April 16. The only option for Nebraska to get four weeks of practice in was to have three practices the week before spring break and then come back and hold the final three weeks of practice starting March 28. knapplc
I don't think it'll affect much. They'll get some basics in that first week, then the final three weeks will have the continuity they're used to. I doubt it's much different beyond that first day back from Break. Quote Link to comment
n.e.husker
After reading the article, sounds like it will give Bo and staff some more time to recruit before the spring game. Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
Definitely sounds like a poor job of scheduling, but can't imagine that it'll make that big of a difference. Quote Link to comment
