nhuskers5
I'm only listening to the Spring Game on the radio, so granted I can't see what's going on, but it seems to me that that when Green and Kellogg were in the game they favored the I formation, and when Martinez and Carnes were in the game they went with Pistol. If this is true, it seems to me that we're adjusting our offense to the QB that's on the field. Great to see! Quote Link to comment
Hujan
I think it's clear that we are going to see a lot of I-formation and Pistol no matter who is back there. Have not heard as much shotgun spread being called, though it's hard to tell from the radio. Quote Link to comment
da skers
There is still a large amount of shotgun in the offense. We're working on things that they aren't as familar with doing. And we're doing it pretty good. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I would say they had an even mix of formations at the game today, regardless of the quarterback in there. Definitely not as much shotgun as I expected, though. They used a lot of pistol and i-formation today. I was also impressed with the amount of option plays they ran today, many times with great success. Quote Link to comment
