All I needed was a reminder of how fricking good that team was and how quickly it all went to crap. Man that team was loaded at damn near every position. Starting pitching, strong bullpen, best closer in the game. Hitters for average, power, speed abound everywhere, a bench that could produce a hero any night. And strong leadership from seniors. Again damn you B1G Network for making me want Erstad to get this program back to that level like tomorrow. Those were great times, hopefully we can see them again soon. Quote Link to comment
95huskers Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 makes you wonder with actual coaching if they could have won the whole thing... granted childress was there making the pitching calls but the rest of it could have been a bit different dont you think? im not complaining cuz id take a cws appearench every year.
