Lyons in the Sea of Red.
I know we have had enough of talking about cable providers and what not on the board, but I'm looking for advice. My roommates want to get DirectTV, because they have some pretty legit deals going on right now, same with Dish Network. These all require a 2 year contract, and it is more than likely that we will not be living together for the next 2 years. Has anyone ever broken a contract with one of the companies? And what were the stipulations? Or should I just take the easy route and go TWC? Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
TWC? The Weather Channel? Or is it the name of a cable company in your area? You should have no problem finding a form online that looks like a death certificate..Might even get you out of a phone contract..although doubtful. Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
DirecTv is pretty good. We've been subscribers for a few years now and don't have to many complaints. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
For Dish and Directv, you have to pay like $20 or so cancellation fee for every month you had remaining on your 2 year agreement. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
If you have a smart phone you might want to make sure that you get a provider that BTN2Go supports. That way you can watch live Big Ten games on your phone/tablet. Quote Link to comment
