Scarlet Overkill
Like all the other Husker fans on here, I was loving the offensive prowess yesterday. However, what remains to be seen is what happens when a defense with a pulse is on the other side. The team has yet to face any real defense yet. I can only hope and pray that the O-Line continues to gel and team chemistry goes into high gear, (and our young defenders learn from all the early mistakes). I will reserve judgement on the offense until we see a real team. Washington's defense was Cosgrovianly horrid coming in (like the Okie-light game last year). We will be facing some solid defenses in the B1G - Beck will have to earn his paycheck this year and I think he might just get us over the hump, and this youth movement early will pay off down the road. RedDenver
+1 for "Cosgrovianly" Both us and Wisky have lots of unanswered questions about our teams match up with good defenses and good offenses. We've seen better offenses by far than Wisky, but neither has seen a remotely decent defense. Quote Link to comment
