Canadian Man Picks Up Beer and Walks Away After Being Run Over By Train

BY JULIAN KIMBLE | MAY 24, 2012 | 6:02 PM | PERMALINK

Employees for the Canadian Pacific Rail are in shock after finding a man underneath a train’s 26th car, unharmed after being run over by it. The man had passed out drunk on the train tracks (always a bad idea) and couldn’t hear the rapidly approaching train, or the conductor’s horn.

His small frame apparently saved his life, as the train passed right over him. When the man finally came around, he reportedly “got up, grabbed his beer and headed on his way.” This is that awkward moment when you’re too drunk to acknowledge the freak miracle that saved your life.

I wonder if anybody back at the bar believed his story.
