HuskerShark
Here is my run-down of things we need to do to control this ballgame: 1. Take care of the football. This includes catching punts. This gets said every week because this team turns the ball over WAY too much. We need to win the turnover battle. 2. Minimize Wisconsin's Yards After Contact. Montee Ball is an awesome RB that has a habit of never being tackled by the first defender. The blackshirts will have their hands full trying to bring him down before he gets started. Wisconsin got the best of NU in the first half earlier this season, and the Huskers will have to be more physical right out of the gate this time around to avoid being down early on in the game. 3. Control the line of scrimmage. This will be important on both sides of the ball, just like it is in every game. Wisconsin is known around the country for having a physical offensive line, and they seem to have figured things out lately after a slow start. Nebraska's offensive line needs to compensate for not having Justin Jackson at Center, and the defensive line needs to step up and fill the void left by Baker Steinkuhler. Hopefully Rome, Meredith, Williams, and Randle can hold their own on the interior of the LOS. 4. Play good red zone defense. This ties in with #2 and #3, but the blackshirts have under-performed in the red zone IMO all year long. If/when Wisconsin gets deep in Nebraska territory, holding them to a field goal would be a tremendous achievement. When Wisconsin gets in the red zone, they will want to run the ball and pound the rock into the endzone. The blackshirts have to be physical at the point of attack. 5. Effective play calling. Beck needs to find what is working and stick with it. When we get in the red zone, he needs to keep it on the ground and not try to out-think the situation like he has done most of the season. At the same time, a couple of misdirection plays early in the game would be a good idea in order to get the Badger defense off-balance. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

Fuzzy
What will it take for the 10 - 2 Huskers to beat the 7 - 5 Badgers? How about Jesus. Quote Link to comment
