Fuzzy
We have found out the spray is illegal in the NFL, but how about the college level, or even high school level? Sounds like a good majority of the SEC schools have already been using deer antler spray... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8897280/deer-antler-salesman-saw-alabama-players-use-product Quote Link to comment
ZRod
They said it was banned in the NCAA within the first 30 seconds of the video at your link. But if you can't test postive for it then the only way the can catch them is if someone is dumb enough to tell, or take record the incident. Quote Link to comment
NUance
"You're familiar with HGH, correct? It's converted in the liver to IGF-1," Key explained, according to the Sports Illustrated report. "IGF-1, or insulin-like growth factor, is a natural, anabolic hormone that stimulates muscle growth. We have deer that we harvest out of New Zealand. Their antlers are the fastest-growing substance on planet Earth ... because of the high concentration of IGF-1. "We've been able to freeze dry that out, extract it, put it in a sublingual spray that you shake for 20 seconds and then spray three [times] under your tongue. ... This stuff has been around for almost 1,000 years, this is stuff from the Chinese," Key said, according to the magazine. "I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble," Key said. "The whole idea is to compete without cheating. We're not bad guys." Key said several players from SEC schools he claims to have sold products to reached out to him on Tuesday. "They wanted more product," he said. The segment says the sprays contains a substance banned by the NFL and ncaa. But later in the video they say that it's undetectable, and the ncaa would not sanction players for its use. So I'm not clear as to whether its banned or not. Quote Link to comment
