drewalt
Hey husker faithful, while skimming through ESPN dot com I ran across somthing that stirred my interest. ESPN is asking america to rank the greatest teams of all time. Nebraska of 95 is currently number 1 over 2001 Miami. it takes about 20 seconds to vote, and if we're number one we have a good chance to beat 2005 USC in a sportcenter simulated type game. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation...stranker?id=405 Do this, I'm tired of people telling me that the 95 skers weren't "that good". This is crap, please vote. Quote Link to comment
benjibean1
what is sad is that i had to rank 97 michigan team 10....because the 97 huskers were a way better team than them....oh well i guess you cant list 3 of our teams in there. That also had to derail penn st. 94 as we won that year too. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFaithful
This HuskerFaithful thinks the 95 Skers are the best ever. USC is great. Miami was great in 2001. But I think the 95 Skers could beat both. To quote a line from Napoleon Dynamite, "Like there's any way to ever know that." Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
The 95 skers didnt almost lose to Fresno State, and they sure as hell never gave up 50 points, or needed a last second quarterback sneak to win a game against a very overrated Notre Dame team. The game wouldnt even be close. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
Wow, I wouldnt rank most of these teams in the top twenty of all time... The 55 OU team, the 01 Miami team, and the 95 nebraska team deserve to be there of course, but the rest???? How about the 44 army team? Quote Link to comment

Their only impressive win was over Michigan. They also beat: Pitt-5-6 MSU-5-6 Washington-2-9 Purdue-5-6 BYU-6-5 Tennessee-5-6 Navy-7-4 Syracuse-1-10 Stanford-5-6 meaning the only teams they beat with winning records were Michigan, BYU and Navy. IMO they were given way too much credit for the loss to USC, as if the polls are counting moral victories now too Quote Link to comment

StuckinChicago
Probably could have beat both of them at the same time. I know our second team would have beat florida in 95 Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
USC's Place In History Next stage of voting. NU still has the upper leg in stat comparison Quote Link to comment
drewalt
OK, I told you last time about the poll on EPSN, you all know by now that Nebraska finished first and will be the last "game" on USC's schedual. The Nebraska game won't come up for another 10 days or so I just wanted to give warning. Vote, we were better...pretty much unstopable. Thanks Quote Link to comment

I honestly don't see how the ESPN tards would pick USC over the 95 Huskers. That team dominated everyone they played. USC has had close calls all over the place this season. I think USC was better last year, IMO, because of the defense. Quote Link to comment
joekun
Bump. The '95 Huskers vs USC matchup is tomorrow! Quote Link to comment
Huskrz65
You know what gets me, USC hasn't even played UT yet and they are trying to hype them as the greatest team. If USC doesn't beat UT (which I don't think they will) by a score of 62-24, ESPN can pucker up and kiss my Husker a$$. Hook em' Horns! Quote Link to comment
hack
You know what gets me, USC hasn't even played UT yet and they are trying to hype them as the greatest team. it's espn's patented "fun and gun" coverage. worked great in the 95 fiesta bowl. Quote Link to comment
joekun
Time to vote the Huskers to their rightful place in history!! http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...story95nebraska Quote Link to comment
