Silver Lining

I think it may end up being a good thing for this team to have Wyoming play us so close, at home, on opening day................nevermind it's a night game as well. It may wake the team up and remind them that nothing is a given, that N doesn't guarantee wins, no one is afraid of you, respect is earned and you've earned jack thus far. Get nasty, get mean, get angry with how you played and NEVER let that happen again. This team bought into their own hype from the preseason and just got served a nasty plate of reality check. I think it'll motivate them to get better, work harder, work longer, stay focused and play until that clock reads :00! Until then nothing is a given and play to the whistle, no matter the score, no matter the opponent, no matter what.

It appears as though the punter situation is well in hand.

I was impressed with the Oline when they were givin the go ahead to just lean on em and do their thing.

Cross's newfound niftiness is pretty neat.

Goodness sake...That kid has an absolute boot. I found myself jaw dropped every time he put foot to the leather.
