NUance
The No. 22 Northwestern Wildcats staved off an upset bid on the road to capture their season opener over the California Bears, 44-30, in a shootout on Saturday night. The Wildcats won thanks to a pair of interception returns for touchdowns by linebacker Collin Ellis.LINK Pretty incredible. A LB with two pick-sixes. I wonder if *that* has ever happened before? HuskerfaninOkieland
I was watching parts of that game and seen both INTs. IIRC both of them were the result of a tipped pass. For a LB, he had some speed. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I'll bet no LB has ever had two pick sixes in a single game in the history of football, both college and pro. It's probably only happened a handful of times for CBs or safeties. Quote Link to comment
Creed
I was impressed most by NW during week 1 of B1g teams. Didn't see a much of Mich tho. Quote Link to comment
