Nebraska senior Morgan Broekhuis was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 volleyball team, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday. Broekhuis earned second-team honors and is a repeat all-district selection. Broekhuis is a captain on the 2013 squad and has a 3.58 GPA in nutrition, exercise and health science. She has played in 13 matches as a senior. Broekhuis was named an AVCA Honorable-Mention All-American in 2011, is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and has been named academic All-Big Ten twice. Huskers.com 2 Quote Link to comment
