HuskerBob Posted February 8, 2004 Share Posted February 8, 2004 I remember another member asking if we thought cally would run the O if he didnt get norvell. and IMO he wud. he alraedy plans to call the plays, and could have some of the other guys pick up some more responsbilties until he got his man. seems he either feels he will get Jay before long or its him or bust. but can we relly aford to go a whole season w/out an OC? Blackshirt Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 Well it appears Coach Cal is content with waiting until Norv Turner makes his move. Callahan still is waiting for contractual issues with Norvell and Oakland to clear up. At a press conference Wednesday, Callahan said he could wait for Oakland Coach Norv Turner to hire his assistants before hiring his own offensive coordinator. Not sure when that will be tho..
