Fanatic
I have some interesting data. It is a mathmatical point system that ranks the top one hundred college football teams since 1940. It is made by some guy with way too much time on his hands. The whole page talks about his mathmatical system, but way down at the bottom of the page are links to the top 100 teams of all time and the top 10 teams per decade and etc. Here is the link: http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rs...e/berryman.html Quote Link to comment
Fanatic
That link didn't work, but this link will take you straight to the top 100, hopefully!! http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rsfc/rate...e/berryman2.txt Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
That is interesting. Id like to see his formulas tho... or not. And who knows how Clyde P. Berryman came up with this, but its still pretty cool to see us have 8 teams in the top 100. Not sure if any others have more, maybe USC or OU.. didnt look close enuf. Numbers hurt. Eric the Red
This is always cool to look at. '99 team was quite high. That team started rolling near the end. Quote Link to comment
NU Era
That is pretty perplexing stuff. Pretty dang cool though to see Nebraska in the top 2 spots!! And seems to be from an objective source too, so that says quite a bit in my opinion. Maybe the Kstate and CU and other fans that get out of their shoes quite often need to take a look at those numbers to get back down to earth. GBR Quote Link to comment
