Saunders
Beating Wisky would be nice from a revenge aspect, but they aren't anything like the last few teams. They'll lose at least 2 more. Quote Link to comment
KC Sker
may be a nice consolation prize. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Beating Wiscy this year would be like beating Texas this year. They suck, we suck, it means nothing Quote Link to comment
GBRedneck
LOL where do you keep your magical unicorn and fairy dust.... "if we beat Wisconsin" that's cute! Guessing you're all for firing MR right now?? Do you have any compromising pictures of Riley with farm animals? That might be the only way you could fire him right now. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Do you guys just not pay any attention? How many times in college football history have you personally framed your entire worldview about your team either very negatively after a loss, or very positively after a win, only to be humbled and proven to not have a clue the next week? Everyone thought Georgia would beat us 80-2 in 2012. Everyone thought we'd have our 3rd stringers in the 4th quarter against Minnesota in 2013. Everyone thought we'd be lucky to be .500 after Ohio State in 2012. Everyone thought we'd beat Wisconsin easily for the second time in 2012. Everyone thought we'd be on our way to a championship and a BCS bowl after beating #9 Michigan State in 2011, only to be humiliated by Northwestern. Can we just.... please stop acting like we have any idea what will happen? It's exhausting. The Illinois game has no bearing on next week. It's totally possible, really not all that improbably, and shouldn't be too surprising if we win. Wisconsin is a good team but they are not a great team, and Riley's career reputation has been one of surprising people when they count his team out. 2 Quote Link to comment
