Blackshirt
Several of our guys have been doing pretty well at the combine. Here is a quick rundown: Josh Davis ran a 4.50 (elec) and 4.51 which are solid times. Josh Sewell rep'd 225 30 times and ran 5.06 and 5.07 which is quick. His 10 yd dash time was 2nd best among all lineman. Kyle Larson: performed well with distance and hang-time. Anyone else know of more info please post. Quote Link to comment
Guest RockyMtnSooner
I know he's not a Husker, but can you believe Tatum Bell ran a 4.37 40 and benched 225- 25 times? That's pretty impressive. I bet he wishes he wouldn't have attended OK St. and wasted all that talent! Quote Link to comment
BigRedMachine
Wow. that is mean. He'll be the next Portis. But bigger. Quote Link to comment
Guest RockyMtnSooner
Oops! I forgot to add he fumbles every other play. Quote Link to comment
BigRedMachine
Doh! Okay then I take that back. The next Dan Alexander, but faster Quote Link to comment
RedCountry
Who do you guys think will be the first 'sker to get picked? I'd say Larson somwhere in the 4th. kinda pathetic year for draft talent, but oh well we still have the most ex players in the NFL from the big 12. Quote Link to comment
Fanatic
I am going to have to go with Williams. Larsen is the most likely to be playing on Sunday next year, but he might not get drafted. Quote Link to comment
HuskerBob
I agree fanatic. 'Morrio is gettin some much deserved love from a Cincy paper. projecting him to go in the 4th.. nice art http://www.cincypost.com/2004/02/23/nflpro...02-23-2004.html Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
Nice article. Also good to hear, Williams scored the fastest overall 40 time at the LB spot, at 4.5/elec. Even faster than Lehman from OU, and all those other supposed burners from Miami, OSU etc. And TJ Hollowell tied for 2nd with a couple others. Quote Link to comment
Guest RockyMtnSooner
Yeah, I saw where Lehman ran a 4.55 - 40. I guess his weight gain effected his speed (which makes since). He was clocked at or below 4.4 at OU several times in the past. I still wouldn't like to be hit by anyone 240+ at that speed. Quote Link to comment
