Orlando, FL -- Sheriff's officials say an Orange County deputy was not seriously injured when he was zapped by his own stun gun during a scuffle with a suspect.

A sheriff's office spokesman says Deputy Joseph Ingraham pulled over a car last night, but the driver took off running. When Ingraham caught up with him, officials say the deputy used his Taser to subdue the unidentified driver. The two wrestled and during the struggle, the driver turned the Taser on the deputy.

Sheriff's Sergeant Carlos Torres says the suspect never actually took the Taser from the deputy.

The man was arrested on charges of not having a tag assigned to his vehicle, driving without a license and resisting with violence.
