Frazier having problems

Recommended Posts

I do not think it is a question about what he did for Nebrasak as it is what he doing to Doane.

Driving off 100 athletes that have idolized you basically since birth is not good. No matter your historical value. That number of unhappy/disenchanted grows daily. The parents of those 100 kids have most likely never seen their children fail or quit. Most will never have a good word to say about Tommie from now on out. You take 100 kids from the local area leaving and telling the kids at their highschool why will not help local recruiting. Bad situation. By now the grapevine news has traveled and is widespread. His days are numbered I think.

Being a good coach is working with what you have an making them be the best they can be.

Tommie was a Husker. Not a very popular one on the team but again idlolized by Husker fans. He was good and he led us to NC's but in honesty we most likely could have done it with other QB's. You can not take those away from him though.

I met him years ago. He did not have the time of day for me. I would not say rude, but just no interest in anything but himself.

I doubt he will be at Doane after this year if he drives more away and does not recruit better and larger numbers. My guess is we are looking at Tommy's last year of coaching, most likely anywhere.
