Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies:

 

1 Pkg. Lil Beef Smokies

.1-1/2 Packages Bacon, Sliced In Half

***Frozen Bacon Is Easier To Cut/Put Cut Bacon In Baggies Or Containers To Thaw In Refrigerator

1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar

1/2 Tsp. Cumin

1/4 Tsp. Chili Powder

 

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

 

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cumin and chili powder; set aside.

 

Wrap one piece-(half piece of bacon)-around one smokie and secure it with a toothpick.  Repeat with remaining lil smokies and bacon until all smokies are wrapped.

 

Place lil smokies in a 9x13-in. baking dish,

 

Sprinkle with brown sugar mixture.

 

Bake for 1 hour.

 

Serve immediately or put smokies in a crockpot; pour pan juices over the top and keep warm on warm setting.
