  1. ** Scott Frost megathread all things SF***

Season opener of Scott Frost’s final season as a player was vs. Akron (my first husker game) Season opener of 2018 is vs. Akron (Scott Frost’s first game as head coach of the Huskers) It was meant to be!
  2. ** Scott Frost megathread all things SF***

Chris Schmidt said he believes it will be Frost. Jay Foreman also thinks so. That’s what has been said the last two days on the Hail Varsity Radio show.

Hey, I’m from Minden! I hated you guys growing up!
  4. ** Scott Frost megathread all things SF***

If it comes back after only a few hours, then we could guess it’s not for a conference on the 15th.

About the delusional part or the Florida part?
  6. After today...

Is there any chance he has any eligibility?
  7. Linking to a non-Nebraska message board will drive the fine people of Huskerboard away from Huskerboard?
  8. So let's say Riley stays ...

Mike Riley addressing husker nation after being let go:
  9. You should also listen to the latest Husker Doc Talk podcast. They have Dave Rimington as a guest. He said they told him they were going to make a change at AD and they wanted him to be interim until they found their full time guy. So Rimington knew before Eichorst did. Also he talks about how much of a mess the football program is. It’s a pretty good listen.
  10. Realistic Coaching Hires with the AD

I think as Husker fans, the majority of us are putting all of our eggs in a Scott Frost basket (myself included). I don’t think that Moos is going to be a puppet and go get Scott Frost just because we all want him. Brandon Vogel was on the Hail Varsity show and he said that he talked to Bill Moos on the phone and the subject of a coaching search came up. Vogel asked about going after a young up-and-comer. Moos said that you have to be careful about hiring a young coach because you never know if they are the real deal or just a flash in the pan. Moos then said he prefers finding a coach who’s been around and has won at a high level, including coaching/winning championships. I’m taking that with a grain of salt because I heard it from Vogel and not the Mooses mouth. I would be thrilled with a Scott Frost hire but I’m trying not to get my hopes up just to be let down when something different happens. And I hope the fan base doesn’t attack Bill Moos for doing his thing instead of what we all want. Either way, GBR.
