The thing we're seeing in sports, particularly with players, but this can apply to coaches, too, is that the money is becoming so great it isn't as much an incentive. It's not a life changer anymore to go from x to y. When that happens, it becomes much harder to pull someone from a P5 Program. We're not talking Memphis or Houston or UCF that have artificial ceilings that they alone can't overcome. They haven't been good since the Missouri Valley Conference was a thing for a reason. It wouldn't just be money that could tempt him away. It's possible he stays but they will be in for a fight. Everyone in the big conferences has money to put into facilities and such these days if they believe in a program. If KSU could do it, ISU can, they just have to have reason to want to.
