  1. I don't know but maybe the Husker offense is evolving. Like in time , a mirror of power run and and west coast timing and throw to open principles. A perfect balance between run and pass pro from the offense line. Dirty finesse in the pass game would compliment a smash mouth brutal run game. Play action to the bone.?I read coach Belima does this. But what cool with Riley he uses jetters to mix for different looks and mismatches. That I think is variant that is intriguing .
  2. Sprint right option Split backs ( no pa) motion full back for kick out on play side. Power O wedge
  3. A. Lewis made a judgment error it happens. But he stood up for himself which is okay. He should have left the Nebraska fans things alone giving his situation. this idiot tweet from a guy that does not represent the entire fan base was classless. Blaming players or saying they suck at football is messed up. Rennet these at d1 level players and not playing in a league composed of filled with high schools , semi- pros, and seven on seven part-time guys. The Huskers are the real deal and those that are fortunate to play at that level.
  4. Nothing worse than noise created by bitches and haters. It can be funny because the ones who scream the loudest suck at football the most. Thumbs up for A. Lewis !
  5. Yeah a probable philosophical viewpoint that differs on system values, skill set, and exposure. I get what E. Crouch and others are saying but designed runs can not only impede qb development, cause injury, or even worse lead to a turnover culminating in a complete bog down for the offense hampering others abilities such as a running back or wide reciever. That outcome is unacceptable. Not everyone can play qb like E. Crouch as great as he is. IMO TA keeps working he will facilitate the offense that is successful. remember TA is same guy that left Ann Harbor with a victory .That was cold. Give him a little time.
  6. The safest place for TA is in the pocket. It is how plays are designed and are to be run efficiently and effectively. Footwork, pocket presence and balance it is an art. Shoot P. Manning and T. Brady are virtuosos in this medium . TA understands this, IMO , qb runs should not be designed so much as stagnant but as intuitive to the happenstance of each play.
  7. Sirus is played out. A suggestion for the players to get primed Drake& Co "Forever". That song hits IMO.
  8. I agree Riley will get his guy. The style of offense and instruction will sell itself. The line of great quarterbacks many would love to follow is enticing alone . The husker line tradition and historical running game will aid to serve offensive balance and protection for the qb. Shoot I have been to Lincoln a few times it is a great city. The strength of the alumni base and fans alone can help sell recruits if the don't make the league. Instruction, style, supporting cast , tradition, and contacts should open some eyes. Nebraska is up there like USC, Miami, and Michigan it would be foolish not to think so.
  9. Quick question. What should a qb look for when a wr is running routes? Like separation, position of defense player, route completion lead, signal, ect Any thoughts welcomed. Thanks
  10. tough with a new offense. Timing and footwork, different reads, different breaks, hell a complete new identity, language , values, ect. IMO until the coaches have the development plans crafted and repetition is constant it touch and go for the quarterbacks. For example, one of I assume many . You threw a curveball your whole life and recently found out that it not proper, no it has to be a screwball with the use of the entire body loaded and torque to guide the ball displaying a quality finish. That could take some time and work
  11. That is cool! Man, can you image your coach seeing everything you do and the amount of feedback you get at the same time reading D and keys plus progression. Simply talking you through. Game speed, Pelini talked about eyes and processing always. This is the bedrock of deception. what are you really trying do to us? With this tool it sounds like you get a multitude of defensive looks against a a set play and can guide your qb against multiple scenarios exactly how he is processing information. The Husker need a pair.
  12. Andrew Luck has the perfect blend of skills and athleticism. The play against the broncos in the playoffs was cold. Pocket collapses he ducks up inside splits to his right, extending the play threw on the run to a cross receiver. Perfect like Montana. I saw a clip TA can throw on run. IMO, he should watch qbs who resemble his athleticism Elway, Newton, Vick, Brees , ect . That is a pronounced style and very effective look to defenses. feet are important , but should not confine or define a quarterback . I'm sorry , things breakdown and get crowded. I want the jive back there whatever it takes is acceptable. It's deception that makes a qb. The NFL runs heavy play action a skill and value the fits former qbs and values
  13. If you look at the change rationally and logically it makes sense. Getting information and looking at things not from an emotional or negative standpoint everything will work out for the best. Both Beck and Pelini are in great situations to further themselves. IMO, Riley and the Huskers mesh. let's be honest, standards have not been present at Nebraska for over a decade. Husker fans are concerned about what works and Some of Riley's formations, plays, tools, and creative flexibility remind of those times. Needless to say, we seen the resumes and accomplishments and I bet the caliber of instruction is off the charts. Theses are NFL guys. Those qbs are very fortunate to be here at this time and to learn new stuff. He'll the qb coach taught E Manning last year. IMO, it not going to get easier. OSU is scary with Meyer and his use of deception . In addition , You dam we'll know Michigan and PSU are not going down without a fight either. we're in the same boat as they are. the big ten is no joke! Riley and the Huskers have to get hungry. Riley wanting the same will create the sense of emergency and instill that hunger. Man it February and I'm stoked. This sucks.
  14. Maybe, but TA run game could create separation for receivers. All eyes on me. The throws are not asking much just be smart. A college qb should be able to work with it. I think TA should get this.
  15. Yeah, great article and post! It cool to see a little bit of what going to happen. I like the set up for shots for the speed at wr. Those throws and reads in the intermediate game with flood concept fit the most qbs well. TA with play action fits him because his ability to run and get outside. It' is more respectable for defense to drop a safety. Then take the shot from under center, whole team in on PA sell, next Pierson El hitting the hash mark on the side where the safety used to be. Bam! I got you!
