  1. Are you positive on that? I can almost see it taking place from the shotgun.
  2. I'm asking because on a sports radio show here in KC, you call in and try to stump the hosts with a sports question, if they don't get it they ask you a question. Well the host asked back "Why was Eric Crouch an eligible receiver on that play? I was thinking well he pitched the ball behind him and behind the line of schrimmage to Thunder and he can do what he wants after that. But I guess you have to be in the shotgun. How strange.
  3. Did that play start with Crouch in the shotgun?? Apparently he had to be in order to be an eligible receiver. I can't find any video footage anywhere so does anyone remember if he was behind center or in the shotgun? I keep thinking he was behind center and then pitched it to Thunder.
  4. Jeremy Crabtree knows more about recruiting than anyone. You can call into a radio show here in KC, just mention a prospect for ANY team in NCAA and he will have information on him. And he doesn't even have a computer in front of him, it's all knowledge. So with that in mind, I wouldn't be calling him just another weatherman.
  5. What's the latest on Walton? Is he going to follow A.J. to Penn State?? I'd like to pick him up, along with Deas, Henry, and Issac and call it a year.
  6. You know we still have a chance at cracking at least the top 15. If we get Walton, Deas, and maybe Green as a QB that would bring our point total up and also our ranking. Getting Walton is huge because he is a Rivals100 player.
  7. He said on Rivals that he will come to NU as a safety and corner and see what works out best for him. That's great because you know he could just say I want to be a running back, and we all know that position already has plenty of depth. Also talked about possibly returning kicks. I hope he did get his test scores up, don't want to lose him to juco for a year like we did with hunter, franklin, and spain.
  8. It's final, COSGROVE IS STAYING!! What a move on his part, because you know he could have been greedy and taken the money. I think he knows what lies ahead of him at Nebraska, and thank God he was loyal enough to stick around.
  9. Yes Tomlin to the Vikes as the D-COORDINATOR....but they are looking at Coz as the linebackers coach.
  10. At 6'5, 225, and a 4.6 does anybody else think that Pierre could be a valuable tight end in our offense. Especially when you throw in the fact that he is a basketball star and the athleticism he brings. That basically fits the mold of a Tony Gonzalez or Antonio Gates. I think this could be a possibility in the coming years. Thoughts?
  11. Hey I don't see anything on their website. Can you maybe send a link??
  12. I have a feeling that might be the case too. Not just because I'm a Bellevue West grad, but I know this kid will go all out 110% for an entire game. He would definately bring more intensity to our secondary.
  13. Yeah I remember Jerrell Powe ended up going to Chatham Hargrave Military School, and now he is committed to Florida State. That prep school seems to have a ton of D1 prospects come out of it, just check out the prep school rankings on Rivals.
  14. I'm not so sure Glenn is the more talented back, I think that one goes to Lucky. However, does anybody see a Lucky-Glenn combo similar to Bush-White? One has the speed and moves while the other is more of the physical bruiser type.
  15. THESE ARE THE GUYS THAT WILL PLAY, MARK IT DOWN!!! Offense - Skill positions QB - Taylor, Beck RB - Lucky, Wilson (if he commits), Glenn, B. Jackson FB - Todd X - Swift, Purify, Brooks Z - Nunn, Jackson, Hardy, Mulkey TE - Herian (Thank God!), Tomerlin?, Phillips, Mueller Defense WDE - Moore, Turner SDE - Carriker, Potter DTs - Dagundaro, Suh, Cryer, B. Johnson WILL - Octavien, Ruud, Brandenburgh MIKE - McKeon, Dillard SDE - Bradley, Allen CBs - Bowman, Grixby, Jones SS- Shanle, Souder FS - Palmer
  16. Bring back Trev! Bring back Trev!!
  17. Thanks guys, that's what I'm talking about.
  18. The guys on 1620 last night were saying that Dave Roberts said he would be there in a heartbeat. Nice to know we have a great replacement already lined up.
  19. Is it just me or has the media not covered the fact that USC has never seen a mobile quarterback like Vince Young in the last 3 years? I haven't heard this brought up one bit. I mean this is a whole new dimension to take into consideration, but I haven't heard it brought up anywhere. Any thoughts??
  20. Josh Freeman decommitted from Nebraska and joined K-State last night. Read more about it on the Husker Recruiting link.
  21. Let me tell you something about Josh Freeman, and I mentioned this in my last post on here. The kid is SOFT, he let his dad make this decision for him, I guarantee it. I watched this kid at the KC awards ceremony for the best high school players, and he received the award, walked up to the stage and about fainted because he was so nervous. Are we sure this is the type of mentality we want at quarterback? Or do we want someone confident like Beck? And yes, Freeman does have a chance to play right away at K-State because Prince will install a drop-back passing game, more suitable to Freeman than Meyer, Everidge, and Webb. I'm telling you, Prince is a talker, he talked the talk and got Freeman to walk to walk.
  22. Jeremy Crabtree was on 1620 the Zone last night and said that we have a great chance at getting Wallace. Sounds like he will probably announce his decision at the AA game. I'll take his word over anybody out there, the guy knows everything.
  23. Guys I'm a little worried about Ron Prince, the guy is a very confident, articulate young coach. If you heard this guy during his first press conference, you would be lying if you said you weren't impressed with how he handles himself. I just hope he convince Freeman too much. Freeman is a very shy, quiet kid that never has much to say, and hopefully his dad is looking out for him come this weekend.
  24. I'm not too sure about this. I just heard Weiser today on a KC sports radio show and, unless he is just brilliant at hiding the facts, he had nothing really to say about any candidates. I could tell in the interview he wasn't going to name any names, but what I got out of it was that they weren't anywhere close to naming anybody. They even asked the question, "Would you have somebody by next Monday?" and he basically said no. I really question who the sources are here, because it sounds a little fishy with the plane and all. Also, not sure if this guy is qualified enough..........
  25. Yeah Rivals and Scout are different in the prospect interest levels. It's hard to tell which one is more accurate. Like Adrian Clayborn, he is High on Nebraska on Scout, but Medium on Rivals. I do like how Scout offers a little more info on each player profile than Rivals. However, I would take the Rivals ratings over Scout anyday. Their ratings were very different for Nebraska on Scout each of the last two years.
