  1. I think his 51-yarder would have been good from 65. He smoked that ball. This. He would have definately made it from 65 on that one. I really hope he is back for good now. Ya then on the next play he kicked the ball out of bounds so the ball came out to the 30.
  2. Not to mention we blow 20 seconds on the clock then get flagged for 12men
  3. Deal Lol I was just showing those stats, just to show them, not to prove anyone wrong or right lol. More of just an observation. Obviously our offense isn't completely disciplined, and still need work, I am not denying that, but we are progressing. As of right now, I think we could compete with any defense. Turnovers kills us mostly. Wow. It's comments like, "we could compete against any defense," that take you to another level. As I stated earlier, we have the opportunity to be very very good but I'm not at all interested in seeing our offense compete right now against the best defenses in the country. I like your passion though, you've got that one down. I know one thing, I hope your right about all of this and it comes through tomorrow.
  4. I do as well... what's your point? You disagreed with what I said, I gave you proof and a reason why, if you disagree, then so be it. We are all entitled to our own opinions. I am just glad I am not the only person to think this. Your watching the wrong games
  5. Funniest thing I saw, is you complained about everything that really isn't an issue. Our offense is one of the best in the nation. Our BIGGEST problem, are turnovers. Tim Beck even stated, they recite this every day, they run drills, and they are doing all they can to keep the ball off the ground. Again, its maturity. Don't believe me, look at Taylor. He has yet to fumble it as many times as he did his Freshman and Sophomore year. The lack of football "smarts" is blatantly obvious and we are certainly not one of the best offenses in the country. We have the potential to have a very very good offense, however, watch an Oregon game sometime and you will see how far we still are from being a top tier offensive team. Didn't think I said we had the BEST offense in the country... Oh wait... I didn't. Look up offense rankings, then come back. If your that blind to not realize that we have one of the best offenses, then there isn't much I can say. We don't, I don't need to look it up, I watch football.

  7. The fact that I paid 70 per ticket for my four to watch a game in that crap hole is payment enough.
  8. Basically saying BO is better than Callahan is the same thing. So what, Callahan sucked and BOs not lighting it up either. That's what's called being king of the pigs. If you can't notice the MASSIVE difference in results between those two.....well....... That's not what I said is it? I said comparing him to Callahan doesn't matter because Callahan was a joke. Let's compare his results with other coaches who have been tasked with getting programs back on track. I'll start...how's he doing compared to fla, nd, Kansas state,? How about oh state? Let's compare him to people who win not people who got fired because they sucked. Stop settling.
  9. I'll admit i actually did lol on that.
  10. Seems like you want to follow me around on this board and ask me stupid questions ... First your wrong on all your comments on defense. No I don't see other teams around the country doing what we do. Ever. They aren't running all over the place trying to line up looking at coaches to see where they go. Putting their hands up in the air while looking at the sideline. No you don't see that from good teams every Saturday. We see that with this team EVERY SAT. We redshirt athletes who can help us immediately and the we pull redshirted from guys who take 5 snaps a Season That's the redshirt issue. And several have stated this before, stop training your coaches on the job! It's not working. Hire seasoned qualified coaches. The d coordinator has been in the program long enough we shouldn't be making the same mistakes.

  12. Once heard the term, "king of the pigs"
  13. Exactly. Let's face it BOs Approach isn't working. Just looks at the same things we continue to struggle with. We can't get guys on and off the field in time, which forces us to call more defensive tos than I've seen in a long time. Our guys are pointing at each other every time the other team makes a big play like its the other persons fault. Baptiste is over there jawing at the other bench and players right before he gets toasted for a td.(no discipline) We continue to be an embarrassing national leader in turnovers. Our leader looks like an ass in front of every national audience. We continue to waste redshirt/non redshirt years The players are actually now yelling back at pelini and
  14. I'm trying hard not to bring out my cubs reference again...
  15. S**t happens. You don't play your best every single week. Sure, being disappointed is fine, but the nuclear meltdown on this board is wholly uncalled for When will we play our best?
  16. Lol. There's 8 rows of course there's not a bad seat.
  17. Tmart is not a big guy so I wouldn't expect him to run someone over. I expect him to run around people but I'm kind of glad he's more of a straight line runner rather than trying to make a lot of cuts. I've seen B. Miller injur himself twice - last year against us and this year's MSU game. Tmart's the horse we need to ride so whatever it takes not to get hurt. I agree he made a couple of questionable throws but I believe there were a couple of times he didn't make a bad throw and took a sack. I see improvement in the decision making. I don't need him to run over people, just not look for a soft place to land in the middle of his run.
  18. You guys should be that much more proud of what has been accomplished athletically with all these points. Slight edit though. Nebraska isnt the only venue in town. It's the only one in the state. No one was saying Northwestern was a bad team or shouldnt be proud of the run they've had. The point was that stadium was a joke and it doesn't have anything to do with size. The sound system was run off of a pair of speakers that looked like home audio speakers. The video scoreboard can't be seen by many and it looks like a 42inch Panasonic. The concessions and restrooms were comical and the place was dirty and needed a bath. Yes it is a private school and yes there has been a LOT of money go through that school. Just spend some of it to enhance the fans experience. The fans were cool and the actual city of Evanston is nice. Just not their digs.
