I too noticed how poor some of those reads were by Taylor and for that I question why we run the option so much. I'd like to see more two back sets. However, I have a lot of faith in Beck still.

I would take being undefeated any day but I'm getting sick of the 600+ yard games for the opposing offenses. 1,800 yards allowed in the last in the last three games. Chew on that...

I may have stopped drinking so much kool-aid but I still have faith for this team. Maybe it's because I'm a die heart husker fan but I think this team has the tools to do great things. It just depends on how they adjust and grow over the course of the year...

I've been biting my tongue a bit. One game isn't enough for me to evaluate this years team...

I am seriously questioning the D. The pelini's have never been able to shut down a semi-mobile qb, for example: Tyrod Taylor, Fresno states QB, and Russell Wilson to name a few. Look how Texas beat us last year, aside from our miscues they beat us by making their qb roll out to get 5-8 yards a play. They let these teams get in manageable 2nd and 3rd downs... What do you guys think?

We lost this game solely because we can not defend a team with a rushing QB. Furthermore, we did a piss poor job containing the roll outs and letting them gash us for yards. Early turnovers made us play from behind, so you can't blame the OC for letting us loose. What we did on the 4th qtr shows how we adjust any way to win (offensively). Credit Martinez and the WR's because they played a hell of a game. Rex still played good.
