looking at the punt interference call again...it sure looks like the ball hits #31s toe area and then bounces and hits our returner....there was not interference though...for a second time, our own guy hits our punt returner...pathetic!

I agree with chickenheart!! Martinez can run there is no doubt but I question his mental abilities to run the option. I think Burkehead needs to have a minimum of 20-25 touches a game. then bring in the 3 freshman for a few and when nobody is looking, have martinez just run a QB keeper option looking play. Let our RBs run and get used to the game.

i agree, that call at the end gave them the chance to win the game that they shouldnt have had BUT NU did not do what they needed or should have done...they allowed the refs to be involved.

As a head coach in my day, i was always yelling and things during a game as well but i was not on TV either...i think the stress is really getting to him...we are not getting fair treatment and that is difficult to deal with. he was much more calm in the beginning of the year....i think he will be ok..it is a process he has to go through to change his behavior....it isnt something he had to worry about as a D. cord. since the cameras werent on him. but i am concerned about he recruits....

I am just curious since i am not sure i have seen one from nebraska all year...or maybe quick screen passes or even some misdirection outside of the read play that seems to not really be a read play any more.... does anyone think that watson may actually be creative some time soon and use the opposing defenses' focus on t-mart to our advantage?

I was at the game and the crowd was yelling but it is hard to get rowdy when the team is not performing against a horrible kansas team....the play calling was extremely boring...it wasnt hard to guess what the next play was... also, when a person is so jammed in that they have to literally sit side-ways, it is hard for one to yell...people are just too fat now for the seating arrangement there especially with layers of clothes on. but, overall i thought the crowd rose up when needed.

i agree with this...i remember in the 80's (barely remember) that we would be out played by the faster florida teams...so i thought as the 90's went on we went to a faster defense like the florida teams and that is when we competed with them...i think the big 10 teams will face the same problem we had in the 80's with us...speed kills..if you cant catch them you can use your size..

i just couldnt believe how slow he seemed.....also he is a bust since the coaches obviously do not trust him....and him fumbles consistantly....

I was listening to the sports radio here in KC and all of the excuses and whining of some of the less educated Mizzou fans. On thought it was important to bring up that some how beating Mizzou didnt matter cuz we lost to Texas, a game we had circled on our calender long ago. while i admit nebraska choked in a game they really wanted, i think mizzou fan needs to admit their lack of fulfilling a deep desire in beating NU. first of all they always want to beat us....but after the Big 10 rejected them like an ugly girl at a dance for the sexier NU, they really wanted to beat us. i just find these fans funny...

i realize we have to rush some to guard against the fake..my contention is that those guys should actually try to get a push on those blockers and not just shake hands with them...hell even jump up and try to get a hand on the kick...something....
