  1. Really? Can't say he's entirely wrong. Strong personalities tend to elicit two different types of teams. Very good, disciplined teams, or teams that just get burned out by the style. Don't think Pelini has shown either one. Yet. Yes I can.
  2. Meh, Devaney should explain what he was thinking with that Osborne guy in the first place. God must answer for this. Why isnt he being questioned? He's out of the office working with Tebow.
  3. Do you really think they've never talked about this. I'm sure he came right in and started bashing the recruiting of his boss. So none of the coaches talk to each other. they just do their own thing and recruit the players they want? I find that very hard to believe. I think you missed the point their wasn't a real point to it.

  5. Not sure about Dennard's incident (him and Jeffery were both playing very physical), but you could link Bo's demeanor and the teams compete loss of focus. no you can't.

  7. Why? We excuse Bo not being able to handle the media but we crucify an assistant coach, why does Bo get a pass when he should know better than Raymond, btw Raymond is not wrong. Or we're o.k. when the "Jamal Drill" is used by a coach (which went just as public as what Raymond said), but a coach can't say he wish he could play different players. And we might just want to let the Marvin thing go. there are times when every coach needs to keep their mouth shut....after a loss like this, priceless. Don't agree. There are times when you need to plant your foot into some players asses. I have no problems with what he said. As far as MS goes it's funny how people will give him a pass for what he did, but will pill on the current coaches.
  8. The players need to be held accountable also, just like the coaches need to be.
  9. I'd argue that 3 scholly's have been wasted on Cotton boys, but for some reason people will disagree and say that we would have offered them if Barney wasn't a coach. what has the cotton boys done to deserver your hatred?
  10. What?!? No way! You get right out of town! Give me a reason to be optimistic and I will be. What reason do we possibly have to be optimistic right now? I would really like to know. One reason would be you leaving town. Then who would keep all of you blind homers in line? Of course!
  11. This is something I agree with. People are always looking for the quick fix and instant results and are not willing to wait for anything anymore. We have a young staff and they are growing into what could be a very good group in a few years. If we can keep the coaching staff together, it will pay off in the long run with wins and recruits. We'll always have a young staff. They grow at NU, move on, and Bo promotes from within. A perpetual problem if u ask me. Don't try to use the young staff excuse, because it's a product of Bo's management. can you do better???????
  12. what do you know actual know about this???????
  13. And if we hired that NEBRASKA guy and he came in here and did just as well as Beck did, it would be okay? You know, because he's a NEBRASKA guy. Not saying he's the right guy, but at least he knows how to win and compete for Titles. He's been there and understands what it takes. Either way, our Defensive line won't allow us to compete for Titles no matter who we've got at OC So no other coach but him knows how to win and compete for titles. lame
  14. You've got a point about discipline (or lack thereof, but let's be real - most coaches hire guys they know. Hiring position coaches and coordinators who are total strangers is very rare. The nepotism angle is a miss. Didn't SC hire their DC from within. Nawww just a NU thing.
  15. we just got a new D line coach. you want to fire him after one game.
  16. If it means we improve on the offense then yes What makes you think the next coaches would do better. no place in any of my post have i said the next coach would do better, but if the current ones are not cutting it give someone else a chance to prove themselves Didnt say you did. it's called a question. So we get new coaches and their not up to your standards. just fire them and start again?

  18. Then I guess you want Garrison and Stai gone too.
  19. Your right. it had nothing to do with the other team being a very solid team.
