  1. There’s a reason simms was the clear 1 in camp. He had some inexcusable turnovers but also played in way tougher environments. He’s gonna be the starter when he’s healthy, might not be the right call but don’t be shocked when it happens
  2. Imagine when we’re 12-0 3 years from now. Dem lips will really be moving
  3. AND NOW WE HAVE A FUMBLE RIGHT INTO OUR HANDS IN PRIME ENEMY TERRITORY?!!! WEEEE BACKKKK BABBBBYYYYYYYY
  4. WOWWWWW WE HAVE A TURNOVER REVERSED?!?! THE CURSE IS OVER, WE BACKKKKKK
  5. If ya get hate for speaking the truth then so be it. Corcoran benhart and t rob r the poster boys left over from the frosty regime, can’t wait until it’s done
  6. RIP Di(k Butkus. A titan of the game https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38577860/d!(k-butkus-hall-fame-linebacker-chicago-bears-dies
  7. Solid reminder we have the money to compete, also solid reminder that $, NIL and transfer portal doesn’t guarantee success. I know Mathis was a little banged up but outside of the Iowa game he had minimal impact given his profile (imo) and was no more of a difference maker than Nelson who was paid significantly less
  8. I don’t see any raiola of this generation coming here. You think that’s gonna happen after their uncle gets canned this off-season?
  9. I’ve learned that a pretty sizable amount of husker fans on here must be under the impression that the N in NIL stands for Nebraska and that no other programs have access to pay players. news flash ya’ll- money and money alone doesn’t fix this. Every other big time program we are going against for elite talent also has $ to throw at 18 year olds. If I’m an 18 year old and can get paid 6-7 figures to play for a program averaging 4 wins the past 7 years or a program averaging 9-10 with a few pops for playoff contention, y in the hell am I choosing the 4 win squad for the same money?
  10. If I have to see Corcoran, benhardt and piper play next year I give up. Surely we see some of the freshman recruits from this year challenge for playing time….. when tf do these clowns graduate dammit lol
  11. Lol, I don’t know what point or agenda you’re trying to make. You can read my posts- not once did I say we r better than Colorado or out recruiting them. In fact- I’ve said multiple times that we r in the gutter- we’re a power run and defense team who doesn’t have an o line with a pulse, a rb who somehow has regressed in the 13 months he’s been here and now coughs up the rock with regularity and a bend don’t break defense that doesn’t get pressure on the qb, constantly gives up long 3rd down conversions and plays the receiver not the ball which often results in open catches for an immediate tackle but zero change of a pass break up or int. And to top it off, we have a field goal kicker who sucks a$$ and misses 30 yard attempts by 30 yards to the right and a punter with zero ability to control where he’s punting or pin a team within the 10. perhaps you’re confusing me other posters but not once have I tired to spin the ineptitude above as us being superior to Colorado or really anybody. what I have said is those expecting a miracle change and competitive team in month 1 of a new staff a pipe dream and delusional.
  12. Where did I say we can out recruit them. I simply said I’m not slobbing over deions knob when they just got smoked by Oregon last week and don’t have any impressive wins on their slate. Great hire but let’s see how s#!t pans out, not just September
  13. It’s not a loser mentality, it’s the truth. Simple research into recruiting trends and general population demographics would back this up but you can continue to live in your scarlet and cream colored shades if it makes u happy you act as if there are no other big time programs with deep pockets and we can just outbid anyone
  14. Let’s see how the season pans out until we call it a home run. As far as initial momentum and exposure for CU, def a home run hire.but let’s see how they finish-
  15. Im Not saying lowering your expectations on where you want and think the program should be. I was more so speaking to fans needing to lower the expectation of it happening overnight. Rhule wants a power run/control the clock team. And currently he’s working with a subpar o line, a rb who coughs the rock up, zero guys on the perimeter to make a difference and a couple qbs who seem to be middle of the pack P5 talent, at best. I don’t wanna even get started on the “special teams”, they’re special alright.
  16. You act as if we’ve been a top 25 team until this year. We’re gutter man, lower your expectations; you’ll enjoy your weekends more, I promise
  17. What exactly happened the last 3 weeks to change your mind? We beat 2 teams we should’ve and we got destroyed by a team out out of our league. were you expecting a 3-0 run and win 49-7 every week?
  18. No it’s not- Deion is a once in a lifetime circumstance that isn’t easily replicable… recruiting and exposure has always been what college football is about, this isn’t new as of 2023
  19. hate to break it to you bro but development is our only path. Kids who are true difference makers aren’t coming to Lincoln when they can go somewhere with much better weather and things to do and make the same money.
  20. Raiola is 100% gone this off-season. He was only retained simply for his nephew. This line has zero improvement the past 2 years, outside of getting some bodies back
  21. Naw, Alvano would’ve missed 20 yards to the right. Guy has the yips and shouldn’t see the field again all year
  22. Gotta love irrational husker fans who b!^@h and complain every Saturday afternoon yet show up the next weekend expecting a crap team to beat the #2 team in the country.
