It's actually a 4 game losing streak. Going from tied for first in the league to tied for 10th. (Trying to avoid the last 4 teams conference tournament play-in game - which we have been in the last two years)

It seems like there are still a lot of tickets for Iowa and Northwestern available. I know some of it is student break, but hopefully they can get full crowds. That was so important 3 years ago when we made our run. I don't think it is a coincidence they struggled the last 2 home games when there was no atmosphere. Tell everyone you know to get there

Everyone was saying the same thing about Webster for 2 1/2 years - I think McVeigh will find his shooting role. Jacobson just needs to stop trying to prove that he is a 3 point scorer and be the glue/hustle guy.

The men's basketball team had their "secret" scrimmage against ISU today. Keeping in mind, this isn't exactly a real game as there are additional stoppages, substitutions, etc...ISU won by about 9. It is usually student broadcast announcers / home team for each school. So it's not terrible, but for some this is his/her first time (on the job training). The camera angle is usually just one center of the net. They replays are usually taken directly from the score board in the arena so depends on what each school has available. Husker Vision score board is pretty good, other schools may not be.

He asked for more time to decide, but the last day to enroll for classes for the Semester is Friday.

Jack M. was doing Yoga in a picture posted today, so I think he was just sick. He mentioned when he is sick, he likes meat pie.

If he goes to Texas, He might lose any husker fans who still are rooting for him. I'd say it'd be much worse if he went to MSU for fans since we play them twice in league play. You would hope he'd at least pick a non-BIG 10 team unless he totally wants to turn the knife in our back.

This is going to sound like a joke - but actually isn't. Hopefully, they have Fuller concentrating more on this outside range. Coming into college, he was an over 35% shooter from 3-point range and had a couple good games his 1st year after redshirt. I'm not talking AWIII numbers, but now that we have a little more size maybe he doesn't have to be quite so pigeon-holed. He hasn't found a role yet, so maybe this could be his opportunity.

This would have been a weird weekend to visit with all that AWIII drama.

No way Boldt stays, he'll definitely be drafted in the first 5-10 rounds. Most of his comments throughout the season this year have been alluding that this is / was his last year. Burkamper and Max Knutson will also be drafted and go in my opinion.

I assume it wasn't cause he was hurting (could be wrong) could be cause we wanted that run to score or something... But either way... Need hitting to get its act together. Schreiber still can't run very well (Which was evident when he was involved in the double play in his earlier time on the base pads. Didn't even attempt to slide into 2nd base.) Erstad took him out for a pinch runner when he got on and the bases were loaded. Per the post game presser, Erstad said he'll be re-evaluated before the game tomorrow. Not sure on availability.

i would add to this request, one regardng Elijah Dilday. on the broadcast last weekend the announcers mentioned that he was sick and that his season was over. did a search and came up with nothing. does anyone know what happened to him? Erstad just says that it is a medical condition that Dilday has battled throughout his life. (Won't ever say exactly what it is specifically). Like you mentioned, Dilday is out for the season.

Has anyone heard or asked about the status of Colton Howell lately? Last I heard like a month ago, his shoulder was better and they were just trying to get him into pitching game shape. Is he a reliever option this week or for regionals?

UNLV has six open scholarships with all the defections after the coaching changes. His brother is going with him so it is a pretty good chance they will offer both. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but it does not look good.

We need to hope for a Purdue win tonight at home vs Wisconsin. If they win, Wisconsin is the #6.

One thing to keep en eye on - If we lose to Northwestern and Purdue loses to Wisconsin on Sunday - that puts us both as the 11/6 match-up in almost all cases in the conf. tourney. One of us better win on Sunday....
