  1. I think Heard doesn't get enough credit! I thought he looked better than Aaron Green last year, he runs hard and doesn't shy away from contact. And if Ameer can't find a better handle on the rock Heard could see his self moving up the charts.
  2. JPs tweet has nothing to to with Hannon. Yes I realize that and I also realize that Hannon is not making a decision until Wednesday. It was a good piece of info and like I said "not sure where I should have posted it! Next time I will be less likely to add anything! Sorry da husker not the all american poster that you are.
  3. Not sure that it should go here but this was just tweeted from JP. Maybe a new commit coming soon? John Papuchis ‏@CoachJP_NU Big day today - #fanday and we get started tomorrow! Time for business. Plus #huskernation we could have some big news coming down the pike
  4. I wouldnt really say he is unimpressed with him? Its the truth, he has a little bit of an awkward motion, he doesnt have RG3 speed, but he gets the job done. Hes just stating the truth IMO. Its what we have been wanting for years, someone who can throw first, and has enough speed and elusiveness to get out of trouble and run for a good chunk of yards. Whether it's the truth or not isn't the point. Have you read DiNardo's past tweets about other players? If not, go read some, and see if this is different. Lots of people so far think so, and are wondering why. It's not a big deal, just a curiosity. So are we trying to start a B1G Network/DiNardo conspiracy theory now? He also down grades some players as well. I think DiNardo is very honest and calls it as he sees it and I really enjoy his tweets and anytime he is on local radio. I think Johnny's ceiling is very high considering be a 1 QB and hope he continues to work hard and become more polished as a passer. He is already a proven winner at the high school level and I really look forward to the QB competition once Taylor is gone. Should be a good one!
  5. Is this a recent tweet? Could be a good sign for us. I tweeted him about Boyd and Hannon playing together and asked if he has visited and that was his response about 5 minutes ago.
  6. @NateClouse says that "Boyd is supposedly seating up an official sometime this fall."
  7. In an article (free) on Husker online, it sounds like his visit to UW went ok. No 10's like we got out of him after his visit. We need this guy to be N and am hopeful we find this out in a week or two. Hope Johnny is still in his ear! http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1390487
  8. So Forge are you opposed to all the renovations made to Memorial Stadium? Last time I looked it doesn't look like it did 50 years ago. The athletes sure the hell don't look the same as they did 50 years ago? Things change and a lot of the time for the better. If the players like them, if some five star recruit likes them, if we get another 30 seconds on the B1G network or ESPN for them, then I'm all for it!
  9. So are you saying you are looking to sell your tickets? Because I support Nebraska no matter what and am looking for tickets.
  10. I hope they don't release them until they come running out of the tunnel! Look at the buzz it has caused in this thread alone. It is a big deal and we could use a positive buzz something to pump the players up and give the recruits something to talk about on twiiter and a couple more seconds on sports center wouldn't hurt either.
  11. I think a lot of us are forgetting about a very good QB recruit in Tommy Armstrong, that will be in the program 2 years ahead of Johnny, that was no slouch either. I too think the ceiling is unlimited for Johnny with only one year of experience at QB, but let's not count out Tommy just yet. It will be a great QB battle once TM hits the road. And yes could be an exciting year for our wideouts, personally don't see Westerkamp Red Shirting though, not with how many freshman played last year. Bo needs to win now or the hot seat will start to warm up.
  12. According to the OWH he is down to us and MSU. http://sports.omaha.com/2012/07/25/recruiting-western-pa-star-down-to-huskers-spartans/
  13. On twitter also said he would be there on Sunday.
  14. A man among boys! http://twitpic.com/aaygtl/full
  15. I see no shot with AB, but might have a shot with 2012 TE commit Brent Wilkerson. We were in on him in the end and actually got on him a little late and he ultimately chose PSU.
  16. Here is another link from Rivals about Ross and it sounds like he wants to make his decision in a month or so. Hope the other Ohio recruits are in his ear. (Free) http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1388081&PT=4&PR=2
  17. Ya i think he will too, but he seems to be fighting that idea. Thats why he likes the schools he likes, because they say they ae going to use him different ways not just put him inside. He wants to be used like Terrell Suggs and lined up all over the field, not stuck inside. I think he would have a hard time keeping his weight in check and will eventually move inside no matter where he goes. Are you guys talking about Boyd?
  18. I wonder if we stand a chance with BW now? I know we were in it at the end, but ultimately chose Penn State.
  19. Maybe it wasn't him but I thought I read on here somewhere an offensive lineman that had us in the top 2 or 3 was announcing today? If not my bad
  20. Any word on what time ZH is planning on making his decision today and what way he leaning? .......... My bad, new to the board. It was actually C. Morris that is supposed to announce today.
