Husker Hoosier

The B1G has turned out to be one big, greasy fart for NU. Wouldn't you much rather play Missouri, K-State, Texas, CU, OU, etc. rather than friggen Illinois, Perdue, and for God's sake Rutgers! I agree that Texas was the bully of the Big 12, but man it was fun to play them. We come to the B1G and get run over by a bunch of never-rans like Wisconsin. I was at the B1G Championship game and let me tell you the Wisconsin fans and most B1G fans in general have no respect for Husker football. At least when OU or Texas would stomp us the fans still had some reverence for us. The games that we played against Colorado when they were on their way down were 10x's more exciting than just about any B1G game thus far. The answer is no, it sucks.

Couldn't disagree more. This person publicized an out of context 2 year old audio tape (in other words, irrelevant) to try to destroy another person when they were most vulnerable. In the process, this person could have endangered not only Pelini's career, but also his person and his family. This person has damaged our university's reputation nationwide (and don't try to act like this is unique, I guarantee most coaches out there have privately f-bombed some aspect of their program), potentially cost the university a lot of money, distracted our team, and attempted to derail the season of our AD's most important program. I have no problem whatsoever with this person being outed and made a pariah. Everyone, alert the media!!! We've found the dumbest person on the internet!!! Do you really think releasing a tape with Pelini throwing out a few F-Bombs would hurt his career if he were actually a good coach? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the multiple 500 - 600 yard games against his defense and all of the other records being broken against him are what's destroying his career you dolt. Did you watch the B1G championship last year? The most recent UCLA game? The guy just doesn't have it. If they do release the name of the person that released the recording the only people who will give more than one little rabbit sh!t are a few of the Bo-bots on this board. Sorry, no one else could care less. He's a terrible coach and the recording went off with a loud snore to 99.99999999% of the Husker fans that already knew he was like that. Myself as well as two of my siblings graduated from NU and not a shat was given nor will be given about this uneventful tape. Pelini's abysmal coaching style is however quite the show.

I now live on the West Coast and the running joke on the boards is that USC is dumb enough to take Pelini. UW, Oregon, USC, and UCLA fans think that the NU job is Frosts. It's very interesting to see what this side of the country thinks of Husker ball. Oregon is of course huge, but Washington is gaining back its fan base, but other than SoCal, everyone hates USC. Frost would bring back some much needed respect as far as recruiting goes. Those 600 yard games against us look even worse outside NE.

Damn, you guys are fast. I live on the West Coast now and the CFB boards are full of people comparing the USC and Husker situations. It is exacerbated by the fact that they constantly show Frost's highlights from his Husker days.

Washington is looking to be the real deal. Illinois played them well. If that doesn't lend you some concern you haven't been paying attention to the last few years. The Bo-bots that use the excuses "Well, if we take out those three bad quarters, the 600 yards of offense against us and the fumbles in the red zone, we've played solid ball" are mind-less fools. We need to follow USC's lead and lock the guy out of his office if he doesn't turn things around fast.

Apparently one 600 yard game against them was enough. He was not allowed to ride the team bus home from LAX. The AD and USC Prez. both had "100% support" for him just last week. Thoughts?

What does it matter if it was last night or 2 years ago, he still said it. If any of us pulled the same stunt we'd be fired on the spot. Even without the trashing of College Football's greatest fans, he's still a horrible coach. i can't believe he made it back on campus after the Big 10 Championship last year. I found that performance to be more offensive than that fool cursing his fan base. Forgive him or not, he's done. It's kind of like getting caught cheating. Your wife may forgive you, but she will never forget and it will never be the same as it was before.

I was in Indy last year. After seeing that with my own eyes I could not believe that everyone kept their jobs. We've got a decent offense and some good players on D. Coaching is a major problem.

If Pelini doesn't fire Sukpuchis at the press conference he needs to go. How many 600 yard games does it take?

Dislocated or ligaments he'd be out. Hit in the shoulder by a 220lb linebacker at full speed is going to leave you with a sore arm. I'd imagine his thigh, ankle, and various other body parts are sore or hurting too.

Deep bruise. Helmet to the shoulder hurts, but he's a big boy.
