Likely nothing the first couple of times it happens. If after 7 years it becomes a pattern, then I'm guessing we go find a new coach. What do you think? After year two, the seat gets hot. Really, really hot. assuming i read that correctly, at least you're of the belief that we'll be making the CCG the first 2 years. you're starting to come around to this hire...even you can't be negative 100% of the time without a positive slip-up every now and then. What I'm saying is in the next 2 years anything less than 11 wins per year, a B1G championship, and a spot in the playoffs should call for a coaching, AD, and chancellor change. So basically 99.9% of CFB programs would be changing head coaches every two years?

I've seen the bold come up a lot recently. I just don't understand it... What exactly are we giving up? What is the sure thing? Scraping by mediocre opponents, and getting blown out on national tv? Playing in second rate bowl games? Where's the ambition at? I'd rather swing and miss trying to hit a home run, then settle for a bunt.

it's to the point I hope we lose out. at least that way we are guaranteed coaching changes how is it every single year we continually digress as the season goes along? same sh*t different day...

i understand staying in college for your senior year, but the window a HB has to make money in the pros is short. usually if a HB gets drafted and doesnt get cut, they only get one legit chance to sign a big contract. imo ameer is going to be great in the nfl (i think it will all come down to how good of a pass blocker he can be at the next level). i compare him to a guy i got to watch every sunday for 6 years. ahmad bradshaw. bradshaw is a little bigger, but not as quick. abdullah is hard to hit and to get a flush shot against him, which should help prolong his smaller frame.

I think NU will have the UCLA effect over these next few years. UCLA's recruiting has really benefited from a weak conference. Even though they didn't win their conference last year, they won their division and still played in the conf. game. I feel like with a down year and maybe more to come in the B1G we need and are taking advantage of it. Yo guys give me some ideas to do in Nebraska! I am from Brooklyn and came here for the Michigan game... Now I am stuck here for a while looks like at least until the 1st. I am with my gf and cousin, lookin for some stuff to do. How about famous places? Maybe something that is on tv like food network (Diners, drives, and dives. etc.)? We will travel anywhere really doesn't matter the distance. Maybe a place in Iowa or another bordering state

Next year I don't see why they wouldn't want to challenge his starting job, the competition would benefit everybody. Defense and turnovers are our problems. If the defense can't string together some 4 & outs Martinez becomes less effective as a runner, which leads to turnovers in the passing game. Blaming Martinez for last week is absurd. I don't know many college QBs that can win a game, while the defense gives up 5 TDs, on 5 straight drives. Only one of those drives were gimmies (INT) the rest they had to move the ball a far amount.
