I'm really looking forward to 4 years of weekly lame jokes made by commentators about Armstrong's last name and how he's a QB with a good throwing abilities.

I wish Armstrong would take it easy a bit. It's a long season and I know he's eager, but we don't need him hurt.

I logged off to watch the game. As I've come back here, I've noticed how this thread always has fewer posts when the Huskers look good than when they're losing. Hmmm...

I believe Bob Stoops has a labrynth outside, which is a prayer walk many Christians have, specifically Catholics. One walks the labrynth while praying and it helps induce a meditative state for deep prayer. I've noticed this team seems a bit more relaxed than other teams in the past. Not as stressed. Now I understand. I've never heard of a team having Thursday off but it makes sense.

It's the second game. Nebraska always schedules these sorts of teams early for a shake-out. I wouldn't want to be in the team meetings on Monday or Tuesday, mind you, but you can sure bet the coaches are going to be all over these guys.

It's good to see us upset somebody and to win a bowl game. Let's hope recruiting goes well for 2014!

I've noticed the announcers are dismayed at how fans are reacting to Bo with all the injuries this season.

I like Bo and if calling in help is the answer, then let's do it. It's not easy coaching at that level. A lot of great coaches make it look easy, but it isn't. I avoid the armchair coaching for that reason. Sure, things need to change, but I don't think Bo is one of them just yet. I think he needs to make changes, not be removed. And if he isn't willing to do that, then yes, it is time for him to go.

Simply being in a bowl game isn't enough. Anybody with a record better than 50/50 gets into a bowl games these days. And 10 wins aren't that impressive when you look at who we beat. Two teams weren't even in our division. Iowa? Minnesota? Didn't Iowa lose to a junior college or something this year? I'm not really all that impressed. Sure, we played Georgia well for a half, and nobody expected us to do even that. But at the end of the day, it is still another loss and another bowl game didn't win. I hope the recruiting improves. Perhaps a few coordinator changes. This programs future includes, "not much."

I'm impressed with how well we've come back from the sodomizing Wisconsin gave us.
