Saturday can’t get here soon enough!!! I hope Jimbo holds out a couple more days as Florida State fans and some media are going to be unbearable in thinking they will swoop in and get Frost at the last second. Though it does sound like Jimbo will coach the Saturday.

Part of Riley’s problem was the fact he was so nice all-around, he couldn’t say no easily. To many people took up his time unwisely imo.

From listening to it, I had the feeling he was basically saying goodbye as well. He loved his time in Orlando and he loved his players.

You’re welcome! I love the offense to be honest and this is coming from a guy loves coach Osborne’s offense and the type of offense Wisconsin runs. Frost’s offense is a blend of Chip Kelly’s and Tom Osborne’s in reality.

I love Williams but Walters is probably the one coach I would be most excited in bringing in. He is getting plenty of talk for head coaching jobs for a reason.

The Nebraska fan base as a whole is very rabid and love their Husker football but we aren’t SEC stupid overall. Never go full SEC!

No Sumlin is a Purdue alum.

Been rumored that UCF may target Sumlin. If Brohm would’ve left Purdue, you would’ve had to figure he would’ve been in play there since that is where he went to school at. They are in a much better situation now than last year of course.

Btw about Arizona State... Arizona State: Per a report from 247, Arizona State is likely to name Herm Edwards their new head coach “as early as next week.” Edwards will be in Tempe to meet with ASU officials this weekend, so ASU President Dr. Michael Crow has time to return from a Global Education Summit in Beijing.

It is the reason why Arizona State is looking at a lot of older ex NFL head coaches. They can bring these guys in and not have too much of a staff overhaul. Definitely a different approach to say the least. Not to mention Frost would not go to Arizona State because they don’t really pay their coaches that much in the grand scheme of things.

Sounds like Tennessee may be pivoting to Dave Doeren of NC State now. It is no secret Doeren wants out of Raleigh and his contract talks have stalled with them.

It was well known that Frost liked to flirt and he was the “Golden Boy”. It didn’t make for the easiest times for some of his teammates. It purely was a college thing and jealously is rearing it’s ugly head with some. They can’t stomach that he still is the “Golden Boy” with Nebraska.

Brohm would be a very good hire for Tennessee and actually a very good fit.

Was just coming to send that link. If Oregon doesn’t feel he is “available”, then that says a lot right there. If it were just him being at Central Florida, that wouldn’t stop them from trying. They know he is going to Nebraska.

If the B1G were to ever expand we are talking Kansas, Oklahoma or Texas. Personally I think the most likely scenario would be Kansas and Oklahoma. The B1G likes having states connect and of course Kansas is connected to Nebraska and Oklahoma to Kansas. In the end I still don't really know if the BIG XII will fall apart or not?

Still in the belief if there has been no chatter or leaks about any other candidates really, that this is probably as close to a done deal as there is with Frost. The only other name that has been leaked is Fuente and that he is the back-up plan if something crazy were to happen to Frost to Nebraska. Basically we are just in a waiting mode until Saturday or Sunday.

Word is there was no media at his parents place. That part was blown out of proportion. A phone call may have been placed but no stalking at their home. That was central Florida media trying to make a mess of things.

Yes Neal Philpot from Norton was a monster at both Norton and then at Pitt State.

Yes and Norton actually did play Goodland week one. Goodland actually has a QB many consider the best since Brook Berringer but likely headed to Fort Hays State or Pitt State if I were to guess. I know Riley recruiter Ruder fairly heavily but never offered for some reason.

Yes there is that internal struggle with Bill wanting Sean to replace him. In the end I bet it is someone else other than Sean.
