  1. Something doesn't make sense I thought he heard from the new staff and they said he could play h-back... (When reached, Dillman explained his situation further and talked about the news that unfolded today. "I hadn't heard anything from the new coaching staff since they've been in place," Dillman explained. "I know Avery (Anderson) one of the corners and (Christian) Gaylord one of the o-line already had coaches come to their houses. So I just found it a little odd that I hadn't got a text or a call or heard from anyone on Twitter. "So I asked Coach Walsh to contact them to ask what was going on and Coach Walsh got the news that there was no scholarship for me at Nebraska. They pulled it for whatever reason, I don't know what reason. But that's what they decided.")
  2. Ever think not having a nose for the ball is more about the system? The Db's don't attack and play with their back to the ball in the match up zone with man concepts he liked to run.
  3. Eh I'm good if they move on, Fisher seems like a great guy and good coach for what we asked the recievers dining that offense but I think they will be asked to do more and need a coach that has more experience They have as much experience as Bray.... As for what they will be asked to do, how does anyone know what that will be at this point? Care to define the position needs for the "Smorgasbord" offense? im saying a WR coach with more experience specifically, or at least a better sense of what MR wants his recievers to do, who knows what MR will do but im pretty sure the recievers will have to do more than block and run deep routes
  4. @JoshHarveyScout: #Nebraska commit Eric Lee confirmed the Warren news as well. #huskers
  5. Eh I'm good if they move on, Fisher seems like a great guy and good coach for what we asked the recievers dining that offense but I think they will be asked to do more and need a coach that has more experience
  6. @JoshHarveyScout: BRR has confirmed DB coach Charlton Warren will stay on staff according to #Huskers commit Aaron Williamsreported earlier by @NateClouse
  7. @NateClouse: .@HuskerOnline has confirmed DB coach Charlton Warren will be retained by Riley: ($) http://t.co/4N8CxzqGX7 #Huskers http://t.co/3r3quk7q1G Seems like a solid move, not a long history with the old staff and recruits the south
  8. Lol glad I'm observant Why are we listing him as a commit?
  9. How long had 247 been listing him as uncommitted? I just noticed it...also picking up crystal balls for A&M today they now lead on the picks we are only 11%
  10. Sounds like garrison and cotton are going to unlv Per footballscoop if they hold any clout anymore
  11. Um. OK, not good "He came by my house (Saturday) morning," Neal explained. "The visit went great. Me and Coach Aiken talked. We talked about the schemes that the University of Oregon has to offer. My dad had a great conversation with him. Right now, my family and I are leaning toward the University of Oregon." http://www.oregonlive.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2014/12/daishon_neal_3-star_nebraska_c.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  12. Interesting they said if Brown was retained he would have reaffirmed his commitment on the spot
  13. @_Dbush11: Just received an Offer from Nebraska🔴⚪️ #cornhuskers Devin Bush LB from FL Edit: he is in the class of 2016
  14. Good news..hope it will be enough to keep him on. Schaefer from 247 didn't think it would be based on the fact it will be our last contact with him until he decides, but who knows
  15. Bussey Sr was really impressed with Riley but they are in a bit of a bind not knowing who the position coach will be before they would one to decide next week. Sounds like the visit couldn't have gone much better from their standpoint though http://nebraska.247sports.com/Bolt/Bussey-Riley-sit-down-33814480
  16. @JoshHarveyScout: #huskers @BigRedBryan RT @BriceMarich: Wisconsin commit, FL MLB Nick Thomas (@nickbeach_) is taking an OV to Nebraska this weekend
  17. 2 reasons 1) he has the best interview you could ask for watching all the coaches for the next few weeks 2) super awkward among the current coaches if a few are retained and the others aren't
  18. Sounds like bray is visiting him today We are still in his top group and the staff changes didn't hurt us
  19. Yup your right, look at you Mr over achiever with the Google doc, lol, well done!
  20. I'm always looking for this info and can't find it so I thought I would post it in its own thread. QB 5 RB 4 FB 1 WR 10 (including Turner) TE 4 (not including Hart) O-line 14 DE 6 (not including Gregory) DT 5 LB 5 (including Walton, not including Love) CB 8 S 4 ST 3 (not including Miller) Total is 69 Gives us a class around 16 assuming no more attrition LB seems like the biggest position of need right now Edit: fixed the count, mav was right
  21. @Kahlilhaughton: Had a great in home visit tonight with Coach Bray from Nebraska! 🌽 #GBR Great to hear
  22. Then support staff for football is 30 people including interns so far he has brought 3 or 4...let's chill
  23. Bussey Sr told 247 that we are third right now behind tenn and a&m, and that a final decision would likely come next week. I would hope he does an in home before that. Also not sure why everywhere lists him as a commit when we are third now
  24. I would imagine it would be really awkward if Riley told some staff they were staying on and some were getting fired. Plus the next few weeks are the best job interview ever, he gets to watch them in their element
