Yeah I know Suh has done a couple that you needed to pay for, I'm not really looking to pay for any I guess... I'd be fine knowing about any with guys like O'hanlon, Holt, Asante, Dillard, etc...

Last week was a problem more than just Men and Womens games... there was also State Swimming and Lincoln Stars that day.

really? Maybe youre being sarcastic...I dunno. I personally think its a relative bargain considering everything it entails. Especially if you already live in that town and dont have to make a trip. Everytime I go to a game, I spend at least that much considering everything together. And I never got a picture hanging over Suh's shoulder, let alone an autograph. Well you could have... Suh signed autographs and took pictures after every game...

any idea what time?

Has anyone heard of any other autograph sessions around Omaha or maybe Lincoln with some of the other players? Would like some autographs but dont need to pay $40 for Suh

So its more important for you to root against Chase Daniel than root for 2 former huskers STARTING on the Saints? There is are huskers on both teams so for me its a win-win, but I will root for the city of NO (and they have more huskers)

Chase Daniel would absolutely deserve one hes part of the team... However the thing I have a issue is the Saints signing a guy like Duece McAllister and he will get a ring if they win, but he doesn't even suit up.

At least the weather was decent yesterday... the weather always scares me when we are bringing guys in from the south in December and January.

I remember someone saying he went JUCO (I think in Kansas) maybe he redshirted for some reason??

Who was that DB that was committed to us at the start of this class? I believe he was a 4 star and from somewhere in the south. I was just curious where he ended up going.

Duh... we're fans! Haha yeah I get what your saying but I mean Owa is a big time talent. Will he live up to the hype? We'll see but he will have a opportunity to do so right away, but at the same time we have players at his position where he doesn't need to come in and start. Also I think a lot of this excitement just comes because at the start we had little to no shot. Somehow we got him to come visit for the OU game which was a huge accomplishment. After a couple of months things couldn't be any more different as we are now his favorite school.

If we start winning Big 12 titles and are in contention for them (like this year) more than likely we will be in the National Championship talk. Its just way to hard to predict things like this... I mean if you would have told people we would go 10-4 this year and lose to Iowa St. at home some people might have been worried. But at the same time you tell them we go 10-4 and explain how we lost the V-Tech, Iowa St, and Texas game then people probably get excited. We were 1 second away from a BCS game in year 2 so theres no need to worry now and you can't predict the future so I'll just let things play out before I judge.

There were a couple of times this year where Larry Asante got banged up and PJ Smith came in with little to no drop off. PJ will be a different type of safety and not quite the head hunter like Asante was, which I believe is good and bad. I think PJ will look more like a Josh Bullocks at Safety. Also with Ankrah just remember by the end of last season he was getting reps in practice with the #1 defense. He was definitely brought in to play right away but couldn't get the playbook down at the start of the season so they red shirted him. I believe about mid season he finally got it but the coaches weren't gonna burn a full year for a few games. We'll see but theres no reason to really down grade these guys on their "hype" we do it every year, we're just being fans...

It will be interesting to see how true that speed is... 40 times are always kind of iffy coming out of HS. Seems to be a lot of kids who come out running sub 4.3's and then you watch the NFL combine and the fastest ever is a 4.24 or something like that. Regardless his is fast and I hope we can use that speed. The only thing that scares me is hes pretty small so hopefully if he gets bigger he won't lose that speed. This may be high expectations but I could see him as a kind of poor mans Percy Harvin. Obviously Percy is a incredible athlete, but if Kenny is really that fast and can run and catch I think he could be used like Percy.

Unless I have missed anything here is the basic summary... The in home with Owa went very well on Thursday night. Supposedly Owa put on his facebook a decision was made and did it from his phone that night, but that post on facebook was later removed. However many recruiting experts now say were are in the drivers seat for Owa and his family feels much more comfortable. Bryan Munson said he expects Owa to commit as early as this weekend and didn't think he would wait all the way until signing day. Then a UCLA guy has come on here I believe and tried stirring things up, but basically the experts are saying Owa is N unless theres a huge change of heart. We just need to wait for the official announcement. Also there are rumors that he has started talking with current huskers like Eric Martin about playing together next year.

I'm 95% sure that the rankings now are the final ones...

He could have posted it and then soon removed it because thats probably not the way he is going to want to announce his decision.

Wow Braylon isn't to far off of everyones prized recruit for next year (Aaron Green). Don't get me wrong we need Green because we need to stock pile this talent because you need 2-3 backs in todays football. Can't wait to see if Braylon can get on the field with Burkhead and Helu.

This is kind of random, but does anyone else think Sean Fisher might be better suited as a DE instead of a LB? He's 6"5 so throw some weight on him and I think he might be pretty good. Something about him this year at LB just didn't impress me (mostly he doesn't look comfortable in open field). Also we hardly ever use more than 1 or 2 LBs and it seems like Compton, Eric Martin, and others would be good enough for that. However at DE we have Allen, Meredith, and Ankrah (I know we have Josh Williams but he seems to be struggling). So I would think we can use Sean Fisher at DE more than LB. Who knows though it was just his freshman year so he has plenty of time to change and progress.

I'd say its a 50/50 shot, and if you would have told us that in the beginning I think we would have took that.
