Owa wasn't ever big on USC... if anything I would say it hurts us with Owa because it makes the Pac 10 a more wide open conference, but in the end it shouldn't change anything with Owa's decision. I wonder what happens if USC goes back and gets their former OC who is now the HC at Washington (Sarkesion or whatever his name is?) then does Locker stay or go pro? Either way if that would happen it makes our game up there much easier.

Prince won't go he has made his decision and won't even submit his name for evaluation. However, I think Prince would be smart at least throwing his name out there. If he is a 1st rounder with all the uncertainty in the NFL after next year it might be the time to go. That said I'm glad he has made the decision he has so far! Maybe he sees the potential and knows all the money in the NFL won't ever get him a shot at a college National Title or even a Big 12 Title

Its not like Potter was just wasting away his time at DE... he was a hell of a DE for us and made a lot of plays. I noticed earlier this week he was a TE now and on the active roster. Hope he can make it work for him!

So for the first time since I believe 2003 or maybe before that we have no "cheer" or something to yell for a specific player. It started with Barrett Ruuuuuuuuuuud around 2003 I believe, unless there was someone before Ruud? Then we had Bo Ruuuuuuuud. Somewhere in there Suuuuuuuuh got started but now Suh is gone and we have no cheer or anything for the player. Any suggestions or how do these things usually get started? I'm assuming its just something the student section gets started then word goes around and eventually everyone does it. Heres the one that came to my mind... Khiry Cooper- Cooooop (Im pretty sure they do this at Baseball games already, am I correct?) So who gets the chant or is this run of players over?

Damn... felt good about how things were going. Visited the game with the best atmosphere of the year, best player in the nation was a DL from his state, in home visit during Suhs award show, etc... The one thing we couldn't fix though is distance which I can't blame him. Seemed like a class act throughout the whole process so I'll root for him in the future as long as hes not playing us!

Like I said before Cody has shown the ability to make progress and has more progress to make. Just look at someone like Terrell Pryor at Ohio St. Now I would guess that Pryor is a better talent that Green is because he is a better runner, but just for comparison purposes follow along. Pryor came in as the most touted player in the nation out of HS. He played as a Freshman and I believe made his first start midseason. He has had many growing pains at OSU and seems to have maybe just finally got things down after the Rose Bowl victory this week. Now I'm not trying to say Cody is Pryor because Pryor is a pretty special talent, but they have similar qualities. They are both tall, strong QBs, with big arms. It took until the bowl game of his (true)Sophomore year and over a year of starting for Pryor to look like he has things down. Its not just Pryor either... look at Barkley at USC he struggled at starting while being Rivals Top Player for most of his HS Career. Anyway I guess its probably a good thing that some of us are letting the expectations lessen on Cody, but at the same time people jumping ship and judging him off of his True Freshman campaign are crazy. Also the stuff about Cody transferring just makes me mad. I'm sure you guys don't know Cody, his family, or in general anything about Cody's personality. So comments about him saying he will just transfer or he should just transfer, etc... are frustrating. I don't know Cody personally but I've been around him and he loves it here at Nebraska, his family loves it at Nebraska, and he has a strong drive to be a starting QB at Nebraska and believes he can do it, but at the same time will take the coaching he receives to make himself better.

So is Nebraska officially out of it or just what some guy is thinking? I don't blame him for staying closer to home, but its just a little surprising that he has seemed to like Nebraska throughout the process, we seemed to have good ties with him, and we have the best defensive coaching staff in the nation. Also on top of that, not that were lacking DE Depth, but really once Pierre Allen is gone next year we don't have a ton of guys at DE so he can come in and play. Even in 2010 all we really have is Allen, Ankrah, and Meredith. We also have Josh Williams but he hasn't shown the ability to get on the field ever.

Its so hard to say now... I think its obvious that Lee is the leader going into Spring Ball, but theres a lot of growth and change that can happen from now to Spring Ball then Spring Ball to Fall Camp. Anyone at the Spring game last year would have probably agreed that there was no way Cody would see the field during the 2009 season let alone start!

Redshirt next year? The kid is going to be competing to start, not looking to redshirt! Also I have no problem with him playing this year, he was competing for the starting job and obviously there were times our coaches thought he was our best option at QB (ie: he started 2 games...). Its not like he was coming in games and filling in mop up duty, he was playing and preparing as a starter.

Honestly I know someone that can make those and has made some huskers before. Not to be mean, but that Bama fan really didn't do that good of a job on it. First off its to shiny looking, needs 2 stripes on the arms, N of the helmet isn't right, etc... a lot more little details are off... However if its really just a Bama fan inspired to make it because of our win thats pretty cool and would make more sense for the mistakes.

I think the last 2 years they have gone with multiple players one for each platform so I would expect that to continue... I would guess Tebow and Suh might get the PS3 and 360 covers.... then the Wii, PSP, and if they still make PS2 would go to Colt McCoy? CJ Spiller? etc... Say as much as you want about the media being all over Tebow, ESPN drools all over Suh about every chance they can after the Big 12 game...

Burkhead wins the preparation mvp in my book. Because he watched lots of film to find tendencies in Arizona's D? No, he wins because he had the foresight to wear white shoes. And they looked awesome. Burkhead doesnt wear white shoes, but he puts a ton of white tape on his shoes/ankle.

Couldn't really ask for a better way to go out especially recruiting wise. Hopefully Bo made some impressions this week acrossed California.

Well I'd say he would be a good bet for a guy we get after that Bowl performance. If he is unsure about ND and Illinois then I would say Nebraska helped make his decision between us and Arizona.

I have a few extra of the cards that were exclusively given away at some of the Home Games this year. They are actual Football Trading Cards (something just like Topps would make) and not just schedule cards I know I have some Helu and Prince as well as the "300" edition of Helu that was exclusive for the 300th Sellout.
