  1. Just talked to my friend and he said the price is $220! First to message will get them!
  2. Like I said they aren't my tickets, I just know that's what they paid including donation and since it's a big game they just want that back out of them, would not like to lose money. This is less than the going rate on stub hub and craigslist. If you have an offer I can sure text it to my friend and see if they are happy with that price. Like I said I would be more than willing to share our tailgate goodies if you want to swing by and pick them up or I can meet somewhere around the stadium!
  3. North Stadium row 77 $220 the pair OBO, it's what the person who has an extra pays including donation. I'll be in lincoln tailgating Friday night and Saturday and would be more than willing to share our tailgate food with purchase of the tickets
  4. Honestly that might be a good start. I have a email drafted out to the Community Relations AD, but waiting to see if anyone has any other insight.
  5. Thanks that's what I was thinking. A decal on the helmet or even a patch would be a great idea. As I mentioned in the original post it would be our traditional jerseys, the only difference I was thinking would be a different nameplate sown on the back.
  6. Thanks, I did check the contact us on huskers.com there is such a big list I wanted some input on who would be best to contact. I was thinking one of te associate AD or NU equipment managers.
  7. Hello Huskerboard, long time since my last post, but with the news of the alternate uniforms and then the news of young Jack Hoffman it made me think Nebraskans need to stand up and try and help our own. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea who I could possibly email at the university about an idea I had to possibly have a Team Jack game. I know in the past there have been games set aside where people were encouraged to wear their team jack shirt. Whether you like the "red rising" uniform or not we all know that takes several months of planning. This uniform doesn't need to be flashy or shiny. However I think it would be so cool and motivational for each player on the team to have the name plate on the back of their jersey be JACK or TEAM JACK, or possibly words of encouragement like FIGHT, SURVIVE, etc ( similar to the northwestern military uniforms) and then a simple Pediatric Brain Cancer ribbon on the helmet. The team could then auction off the jerseys like they have done in the past with the proceeds going towards the Team Jack Foundation. I'm sure there would also be a huge boost in sales/donations of team jack shirts. Maybe this is a silly idea and some will laugh, or maybe it will spark an idea to raise a substantial amount of money towards fighting a terrible disease.
  8. I know before the draft some of last years seniors will sign autographs around the area, anyone heard of any for this year?
  9. Just picked it up, does anyone have any updates for when to expect ps3 rosters?
  10. I'm not trying to act like some big insider, but I saw Jackson after the game and someone asked him how it went and if he committed and he said "Ya, I got ya" then he threw the bones at the guy as he walked away. He's N
  11. I'm not convinced he even likes his team. Watch the replay of any TD vs. OSU...there is a celebration, but not with Martinez. He goes straight to the bench. Prove me wrong. Haha when Taylor scores the TD himself he doesnt celebrate he runs straight to the side line...
  12. I just looked at next weeks schedule and as long as Mizzou holds on I think Gameday comes to Lincoln. The only other possible game is #1/2 Oregon @ USC (5-2)
  13. haha I liked it, if anyone knows anything please let me know!
  14. Ok this may seem odd, but when I was at the Idaho game someone was playing a rap song about Nebraska football and the beat to the song was Hail Varsity. Does anyone know anything about this song or where to get it?
  15. from the OWH Stopping themselves Intentional or not, Mike McNeill got his payback. The senior receiver laid a shoulder into quarterback Taylor Martinez late in the game Saturday, actually knocking the redshirt freshman to the turf and ending a 15-yard run. Had McNeill and Martinez not collided, the play would have certainly resulted in more than just 15 yards. Martinez might have scored if it wasn't for McNeill. Reverse roles and rewind back to last week against Idaho. Martinez missed a wide-open McNeill on a first-quarter pass play that might have resulted in a touchdown. McNeill smiled at the suggestion that he was seeking revenge. Martinez certainly thought he was going to score, though. “He just said, ‘That was a touchdown,'” McNeill said. “But he ran into me, as far as I'm concerned.” Honestly I hope nothing like that would happen on purpose, I have noticed McNeil has said some back handed comments towards Taylor even before Taylor missed him on that open pass play.
