Why so much hate for a Nebraska son? I don't think anyone hates him. However if NU wants to be an upper echelon program in the modern era, taking a chance on an unproven HC prospect who is currently a coordinator would be ill-advised.

Penn St is a little different. The NCAA new they really didn't have any jurisdiction and made things better so no one would take a long hard look at it. Oh believe me, they took a hard look at it before and after the finding. However, only when the court of public opinion had softened was it palatable for them to consider reducing it.

I don't know that much about him..wondering if that would be the splash he needs to make?

The Show Cause is a tough one, I will concede. But if Penn State can get their penalty reduced...things that have been out of the public eye for a time tend to be easily forgiven.

You do realize that anyone can edit almost every Wikipedia post at any time. I could edit Tom Osborne's page to say I'm his illegitimate child if I want. Don't ever, and I mean ever, use wikipedia as a source for hard information. I know man, my Wiki comment was meant purely tongue-in-cheek.

Ok, I am just saying Frost would be a buzz kill for me. I LOVED him as a player but: It is not as if he will bring west coast kids to Nebraska. He currently benefits from a system that someone else put in place. I don't think he will be able to lead the type of program overhaul most feel is needed.

I was thinking about him as somebody who has the ability to go into B1G living rooms and close deals.

Remember the importance of getting the correct hire in a reasonable amount of time is critical to closing out a good recruiting year.

I think Tressel would be a dream hire. One of you guys has already had a little fun on Wikipedia, which this morning stated he was the current Nebraska HC.

Also, it might help recruiting to have positive attention to both sides of the ball. Although the Heisman has become a QB award, how crazy if two players from the same team actually had interest in "The Heisman Watch." Clowney and Teo both were given consideration so perhaps Gregory could join his teammate in the hype.

I do not have any tattoos, but I have thought about getting one from time to time. Instead, each time I had the urge, I bought a new t-shirt. If it was possible, the t-shirt I selected resembled the image or theme I was considering to place in ink on my body. Funny how tastes change. I have a lot of t-shirts I no longer wear. Good thing.

I will hate if Gregory leaves, but if he has a monster year and is drafted high, that will only help our recruiting of both JUCO and freshmen.
