  1. Well if he feels that strongly, then find a different way to protest. Men and women of all colors and faiths have died for the country that our flag represents. As the cartoon shows, he can give up his paycheck for income inequality as one example. Stop making excuses for the guy. That flag also represents this country as a whole, and while that includes their sacrifices, it does not exclude it's blemishes. So you are defending his actions then? While everyone certainly can express themselves however they want, the question is whether you agree with his actions. I don't, and most others don't. Do you?

  3. And I'm sure those Donald Haters on here will find a way to fault him for saying this, even though a vast majority of the country agrees that he can find the door if he doesn't like this country. Here's a great cartoon depicting how many feel:
  4. I'll help you out with this one bnilhome - his 1%-2% will not go up. I promise you. 90% plus of the black vote will go anywhere but Trump. Promise. If it's possible for him to lose more of the black vote I think after this weekend he will. The fact that you think otherwise, and that this hole in the wall analysis does is just one more example of how completely out of touch you are. I will make a bet with you right here and now, so we have it documented, that he gets more than 1 or 2% of the black vote on election day. You willing to go for it? Potentially - We need to agree on the source however. As is evidenced by all the back and forth here, you can find whatever number you want. For instance the only polling site that I find credible and unbiased is 538. Roper is the only site I can find quickly that breaks down post election by race (rather than white and then non-white buckets), and honestly I don't know how credible it is, I'd need to research further. I'm going to be traveling internationally for the next few weeks, so I can't dig in much more, but if that's our source I'd be comfortable saying that Trump will get less than 6% of the overall actual black vote. Wait...you just said you guaranteed he wouldn't get more than 1 to 2%, and now you are backtracking and have said 6% or less.
  5. Also, a Civil Rights Leader who has previously been a member of the Democratic Party is now supporting Trump. The CNN anchor seems in shock that a black civil rights leader wouldn't fall in line and support Hillary.

  7. It looks like the founder of the "Black Men for Bernie" movement is now supporting Trump over Hillary. This is just on man's movement, but he seems to have a good following, and if we see more black voices coming out and admitting that Democratic policies have failed them, this has the potential to upend a long history of blacks voting 90% or more for the Democrats. It may take some time for this to show up in the polls, but those polls someone cited earlier showing Trump only getting 1 or 2% are going to go up significantly. http://www.theimproper.com/140279/black-men-for-bernie-supports-donald-trump-protesters-shout-hillary-is-racist/
  8. And which 2016 Presidential Candidate was supporting Goldwater in 1964? None other than Hillary Clinton. LMFAO.
  9. I agree...this makes Lochte's dumb act look minor. Many men and women of all colors have died for this country. Why doesn't he protest by refusing to play football ever again and start up a volunteer organization to help out those in need?
  10. Thanks for the video link. I'm excited and will be driving 8 hours to take my son to his second game. His first was the BYU game last year with the Hail Mary, so we are hoping for a better outcome this time.
  11. And based upon the evidence provided, you came to that conclusion because? Because you said she was. And every time I dig into anything you say it turns out to be half-truths, lies or exaggerations.Basically, if you say something is true, I know it's at least half false, or entirely made up. It's science. Did Hillary Clinton belong to a White's only country club? Yes or no? Do you have a source for that? I found a New York Time's article about Bill playing at an all-white country club but it doesn't mention Hillary. http://www.topix.com/forum/city/charleston-sc/TLO00BKHJKT5QUCON Here you go. Both were members of this club and both resigned their membership once a local paper called them out on it. Also, it's important noting that in both the 2008 and 2016 Democratic primaries, the Obama and Sanders campaign complained of Hillary using race-baiting tactics against them as well. Even the Times and the Huffington Post called Hillary out for race-baiting, stating this when they reflected back on Hillary's 2008 campaign against Obama. A quick trip down memory lane reveals that Clinton has a history of employing race in a divisive, cynical manner. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/12/us/politics/12clinton.html http://theweek.com/articles/567774/hillary-clinton-needs-address-racist-undertones-2008-campaign http://www.huffingtonpost.com/james-rucker/can-black-people-trust-hillary_b_9312004.html Your link is literally the only site I can find that mentions the Clintons belonging to such a club. I google the supposed news papers and could find no articles. Plenty of them talk about Bill playing at that kind of club. But nothing of having a membership, and the club doesn't even ban black people from playing there. They just don't have black memebers. SPIN SPIN SPIN.. getting dizzy from all the spin. having a membership or not isn't the point. You are right Huskerfan. It is pure spin. So Hillary's charge of guilt by association against Trump because some of his members are sympathetic to the KKK is ok to Hillary supporters, but somehow Hillary's associattion by marriage to a man playing at a White's only golf course is excusable.
  12. As I stated earlier, Hillary's decision to launch an ad calling Trump and his supporters racist was done strategically for 2 reasons. 1. To distract from the Clinton Foundation headlines. Bill used the "wag the dog" approach often when POTUS. 2. To combat outreach and gains Trump is attempting to make with black voters. If HIllary cannot get black voters fired up, her turnout on election day will not be good. Trump has been talking direct to the black and hispanic communities, and he has a way of cutting through and getting people to listen. Well it looks like Hillary's latter fear may be coming true, as the founder of "Black Men for Bernie" and his movement are now switching parties and he will be voting for Trump. Now I realize this is just one man's movement, but if this message gets out in the black community and Trump is able to move from getting only a few points of the black vote up to 15 or 20%, that will have a major impact on election day. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/08/black-men-bernie-founder-switches-parties-campaign-trump/ http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/26/black-men-for-bernie-founder-end-democrat-political-slavery-of-minorities/

  14. Yes, I was at that game. If I recall Carr has himself a good game despite being a younger QB.
  15. Great news. He and Darnay will be there together too. My son and I are going to this game so maybe I'll have him make a sign to encourage the recruits to join Big Red Nation.
  16. It looks like Hillary used a special cleansing software called BleachBit to delete all of her emails from her private server that does not allow any chance for recovering those emails. Does anyone really think that they went to all this trouble to delete emails about yoga and wedding dresses? http://dailycaller.com/2016/08/25/hillary-clinton-deleted-emails-using-program-intended-to-prevent-recovery/

And every time I dig into anything you say it turns out to be half-truths, lies or exaggerations. Basically, if you say something is true, I know it's at least half false, or entirely made up. It's science. Nice try...I think you must be looking in the mirror after making that statement. Did Hillary Clinton belong to a White's only country club? Yes or no? Did Hillary Clinton praise a former KKK supporter and call him her mentor? Yes or No. Now you can continue to defend and explain away any negative positions for Hillary which you are good at doing, but therein lies the double standard. Also, please note that, per Hillary's own campaign, because she found a supporter of Trump's that claimed to be a member of the KKK, she felt that Trump supporters are all bigots. Well we have a video of a KKK member supporting Hillary as well, so I guess she must feel her supporters should be lumped in the same group.
  18. Ok, and would you call Hillary a racist too based upon the evidence provided? And do you agree with my other comments on this topic in general that both have made faulty statements on this topic? If you are talking about your video of her saying nice things about Byrd....no. I don't believe that if Clinton owned an apartment building that she would secretly discriminate against black people. I don't think she would have a problem with Black people being in certain positions due to their skin color or that she has negative ideas of their race...such as them being lazy. I do believe she has lived as a politician through a party by promising things to black people to get their vote, getting their votes and then really not caring about really helping them until the next election process. If you want to call that racist....well....then I guess she is. But, that's not the first term that comes to mind when I think of her. It wasn't just what she said about Byrd. She chose to belong to a Whites Only Country Club and also called black males "Super Predators" in the 90s. She also supported Barry Goldwater in 1964 who was staunchly against the Civil Rights Movement. Right. We understand that you don't care about apologies, or that fact that someone can change their opinion from when they were 17 years old. Good god man, my mom grew up in Mississippi and is roughly the same age as Clinton, I'm sure she's changed her opinion of how other should be treated in that time frame as well. It was a different time then. That doesn't make it right, but at least it makes it understandable when someone has changed their view in 50 years. Well I would hope that you hold the same attitude for anything Trump did back in the 1970s. The point is that both have said or done questionable things on the race topic, and the anti-Trump crowd on here only wants to see it one way.
  19. Why not...Hillary voted for the Iraq war and was highly supportive of it as well. Trump has criticized the decision to go to war, as well as the Bush family often, so I'm not surprised about this at all.

  23. Sorry, the reason I said that is that Hillary is launching her own ad claiming Trump and his supporters are all racist and bigots. That in and of itself is a huge stereotype and is ridiculous. There are 2 reasons she is doing this now: 1. To try to deflect from all the negative attention about the Clinton Foundation in order to change the media narrative. It could work, we'll see. 2. Trump is making very direct and open attempts to minorities and focusing on the lack of results that the Democratic party has delivered for them. Say what you want about Trump, but he has a way of capturing people's attention, and I think the Democrats fear that if he keeps discussing issues affecting black Americans, it may not cause them to switch their allegiance but simply stay home on election day. And most importantly, he's right. Black lives have gotten worse under Obama and Democratic policies. Dude, that's not what that ad said. Not at all. Stop dealing in absolutes! Be you a Sith? Even if we presuppose that Trump himself is not a racist, think about it this way: Donald Trump: Not racist, but #1 with racists! She wasn't saying that everyone that votes for Trump is in that group. But she was saying almost everyone in that group is voting for Trump. Why do you think they feel so damn comfy and at home in his camp? Clinton has said some cringey stuff about race, with the Superpredators thing being probably the worst of it. But Trump can't and won't form clear, coherent reasons why A) Hillary Clinton is a racist (she's not) and B) why he'd be the better candidate for minority Americans. He just straight up calls her a bigot and accuses her of pandering. It's just intellectually lazy and entirely ham-fisted... kind of like his sudden "outreach" to them. What are you smoking. Her campaign has called him a racist and bigot long before this ad, and if you don't think this ad is implying he is racist, you have your blinders on. Second, yes, Clinton has said several racist things, and has not been the champion for Black America that she claims to be. She and her campaign are getting worried that a GOP candidate is finally talking directly to Black voters, and he plans to continue to do so by visiting inner cities in Detroit, Cleveland, and elsewhere. Finally, as I keep stating, Democratic policies are NOT helping blacks, and Trump will keep hammering that message home. Hillary cannot refute that, so she has to rely on the old racial warfare argument of calling her opponent a racist. That's a typical Democratic ploy. 1. Donald Trump is a racist. Yes/no? 2. Donald Trump uses racism for his own gain. Yes/no? Go. 1. No, I don't believe Donald Trump is racist. I believe he is an egomaniac that likes to say things to get attention, and did so regularly in the primary season. 2. I don't believe Trump is using racism for his own gain. The Democrats are the party of racial and class warfare, and always have been. And I do agree with Trump's assertion that BLM is a divisive group furthering the racial divide in this country. Your turn: 1. Do you believe Hillary Clinton is racist? Yes/No 2. Do you believe Hillary Clinton uses racial warfare or plays the race card against her opponents to gain votes? 3. And I will throw in a third question for you. Do you believe Democratic policies, including in many inner cities that have been under Democratic leadership for decades, as well as under President Obama these past 7 years, have made Black Lives Better over the past 25 years? Really, I don't want to call myself a Democrat, but it's the masses of people holding your mindset that prevent me from taking the Republican party seriously. It's plain as day that Trump is a racist and entirely unfit to hold office at any level but you'll look for any way to defend him and his actions. You'll try to turn this into a discussion about Hillary but every single negative thing you say about her you'll be able to look at Trump on that same issue and see that he has topped her in an appalling manner....assuming you apply logic to the situation instead of looking at the letter next to their name. You have fallen for Hillary's propaganda. Trump is not a racist and has many African Americans in leadership positions in his company. He also has many black pastors supporting his nomination. I don't agree with everything he has said in the past, but the reason it's important to bring Hillary into the discussion is that she's the one making the accusations of racism, and it's a typical ploy from the left to paint your opponent as a racist when you can no longer defend how badly Democratic policies have affected the black community. How can you defend her use of the words super-predator to describe black males. I don't care if she apologized for it. Or how about being a member of a Whites-only country club. And let's not forget calling Robert Byrd, a guy who was a part of the KKK and opposed the civil rights movement, as her mentor. How can you bash Trump yet defend Hillary. I personally think both have said some deplorable things on race in the past, but to assume this is a one-sided issue demonstrates complete ignorance. You claim he has fallen for Hillary's propaganda but then go on and recite Trump's propaganda to prove it. Hmm...I haven't actually heard Trump call her out for supporting Byrd and attending a white-only country club, but maybe he did today. I haven't caught up on all the news yet. Regardless, the point remains that Hillary calling Trump a racist is the pot calling the kettle black. From a strategic perspective, as I've said before, she did this for 2 reasons: 1. To distract from the stories about the Clinton Foundation 2. To hope that Trump's direct appeal to black and Hispanic voters is tuned out because of her claims. Now, unlike past GOP nominees, Trump will hit back hard and bring up some of the points I just raised. If the message gets out that Hillary has called black males "Super-Predators" and has praised a former KKK member as her mentor, this will muddy the waters for black voters and may lead them to sit out the election rather than voting for her. So I think it may help her in the near-term from a polling and media coverage perspective, but could hurt her on election day.
  24. There have been many articles written about how black lives have gotten worse under Obama, but here is just one of those directly from a black man himself (see the video). http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/01/tavis-smiley-on-every-leading-economic-issue-black-americans-have-lost-ground-under-obama-video/ Just a few data points to show black lives are worse: 1. The poverty rate for blacks has gotten higher since Obama took office 2. Median income fell for blacks at a rate much higher than other racial groups 3. Net worth has declined for blacks at a rate higher than any other group 4. The black labor participation rate is at the lowest point ever recorded 5. Black on black violence has increased
