  1. I disagree. These poll numbers do not include any information post-DNC leak. If anything, things will be a wash, but I think Trump will actually extend his lead. 538 even predicting a Trump victory at this point! http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/#now Yeah i saw that Nate Silver now has Trump in the lead. Hillary is likely to get a bounce herself but it could be tamed by the corruption in the DNC. How can anyone take Hillary and Obama seriously anymore ever when they claim the Gop tries to disenfranchise voters while the Dems do not. I know many of you like watching the poll numbers - according to some published today, Trump saw no real bounce post convention. The people that liked him going in, liked him coming out. Those that were on the fence didn't leave any more likely to vote for him coming out of the convention, so his numbers didn't really move - flat. http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/poll-no-post-convention-bounce-donald-trump-n616426 http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/poll-no-post-convention-bounce-donald-trump-n616426 Trump had gotten a bounce in that poll the week prior as he closed the gap after the Comey decision and VP annoucement. Moreover several new polls show Trump has growm his lead in key battleground states and the RCP average. We will have to wait til the 1st or 2nd week of August to see the net effect of both conventions. Going into the conventions Hillary had a 4 point lead in the RCP average.
  2. Nice try...have u seen the chaos the last 2 days in the Democratic party for their rigged system. People are down on both parties, and had the GOP nominated Rubio, Kasich or most others, the GOP would beat Hillary in a landslide
  3. Let me ask you this. Other than white men, what minority is more likely to be a Republican than a Democrat. Not blacks Not women Not hispanics Not young people Not gay people .....etc. BTW...this is a serious question. I've thought about this a lot. I guess you could say Christians. I'm not sure Jewish people would be Republican. Anyone???? I see your point but, minority groups being fooled and played by a political party is hardly evidence that said party is really any better for them. Sure, the Dems pickup more of those minority groups but the real question is, should they? I'm not sure how any sensible adult could blindly support either party any more. Great point. I never will understand blacks voting for Dems at a 95% rate...especially given that black lives are not better under Obama. The Dems are great at identity politics and racial and class warfare which is why Obama has not done more to address the racial divisions in this country. With the white vote shrinking, he wants to do everything possible to maximize the minority vote. REALLY? You don't understand it? You've got a party figurehead like Rudy Giuliani (and a hell of a lot other angry old white guys) up there saying things like "Black Lives Matter is inherently racist" and you can't comprehend why black people wouldn't fall in line? And you have leading Dems claiming those opposed to BLM or who say All LIves Matter are racist. The reality is that the unemployment rates of young black males is near an all time high, income disparity has grown among blacks, etc... Black on black violence is out of control in many major cities including in Obama's home town of Chicago. You're grasping. See the first link I just posted above. Black poverty has gotten worse under Obama, black net worth has dropped 34%, and the wealth gap between blacks and whites has grown. Are you refuting this data?

And honestly, the republican party claims that black lives are no better under Obama ... I don't know a black person that has said that. Not one. Umm...here you go..listen to Tavis Smiley and the real data points and tell me that no black person feels lives are worse under Obama. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/01/tavis-smiley-on-every-leading-economic-issue-black-americans-have-lost-ground-under-obama-video/ And more articles on this topic: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433222/black-americans-barack-obama-going-backwards-under-president-obama

  6. Michelle is the most popular person in the Obama administration and did well. If only her husband had the class she has. However I think she made one mistake in the line that stated the GOP goes low and the Dems stay high. That sets an expectation that the remaining speakers will not be going negative against Republicans or will be trashing Trump. But...Warren is now up and trashing Republicans and Trump. I also thinks its odd that she talks about the high stock market and the lack of wealth being shared...but not acknowledging that these stock market highs have occurred under Obama. She also stated that Trump did not talk about the little guy, minorities, or helping to raise wages...did she write this speech before seeing his? He focused heavily on those topics.

With the white vote shrinking, he wants to do everything possible to maximize the minority vote. Sure....I would agree with that. However, what have the Repubs done to go after those votes? At least someone on the Dems side TALKS to them and actually acts concerned about their issues. Instead, if you met a KKK member, which party is he most likely to belong to? If u watched the RNC last week there was plenty of outreach to blacks and minorities...it needs to continue though

  9. And there are countless stories and anecdotes about Democrats who feel their party has left them and they have joined the GOP. As is the case with the economy and business in general, political parties go through cycles of ups and downs. In 2004 and 2005 many were writing the obituary for the Democratic party and they won the midterms in 2006 and the Presidency in 2008 and 2012. It is true the GOP must reach out to new voters, and I never would have expected Trump to do it, but he is making the strongest effort toward LGBT and other minorities than any GOP candidate I have ever seen. If he didnt turn off so many voters with his crazy statements he would win this election in a landslide. I'm actually not surprised at this because he isn't a Republican and he never has been up until he all of a sudden wanted to run for President. He opposed many of their policies that Republicans hold very close to their hearts and he actually thinks Hillary would make a great President. Actually, there are some things he has said in the past that I wish the republicans would listen to. If it weren't coming from an egotistical fraud, I might actually vote for the guy. The funny thing is, so many of his followers (that I know personally anyway) would have NEVER voted for someone who has some of his stances on issues....but.....hey....he has an R in front of his name now so he must be our savior in a suit. I agree on the last paragraph...but with the awful past 8 years, voters are willing to overlook some of his positions to try to instill real change to the political class.

  12. don't forget the wall to keep people out.. Great point. The Dems only care about building a wall that protects their lives and interests yet think its a terrible idea when it comes to protecting the American people. The symbolism on display at the DNC this year could not be more representative of why so many cannot stand the rigged political class.
  13. I just watched CNN show a rally DWS was having in her district in Florida, and she could barely be heard as the Bernie supporters were out in full force chanting Bernie and booing her. They also showed a huge protest rally has already begun in Philly.
  14. This is so comical, and the timing could not have been better to expose the corrupt DNC and their support of Hillary Clinton. I wonder if HIllary believes in taking email security more seriously NOW THAT it is damaging her own personal ambitions.
  15. It looks like Trump has gotten a huge bounce from the convention last week. I would expect HIllary to get a bounce this week as well, but not sure where things will end up. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/25/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-poll/index.html Trump has also taken the RCP lead and topped 50% in one general election poll for the first time. I know some questioned whether he would get a bounce as some thought the RNC was a mess. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html
  16. I'm not sure you're really paying attention. I provided a handful of quotes and sources that took up quite a bit more than one line! Hmm...well you will have to point me to your lengthy reply to me on this. I just recall a sarcastic post about me discussing MLK in the positive manner I did.
  17. As bad as the Republicans look, this proves that the DNC is in a lot worse shape. They rigged their primary and tried to use Bernie's religion against him to help Hilary. If people want to see proof of how slanted the media is, watch the coverage of this issue (or lack there of) and it will be obvious. Yes, and just think 6 days ago the left and mainstream media were blowing up at Melania using a few similar sentences in her speech. We now have an entire primary season where millions of ballots were cast, and the whole system was rigged to begin with. The Melania speech received coverage for 24 to 48 hours straight...this DNC wikileaks should remain in the news for days if not more. On top of that, I read tonight that HIllary has now added Wasserman to her campaign. How dumb is HIllary and her campaign. I don't think anything that the RNC did wrong last week could eclipse this email leak for the DNC this week. I mean, it undermines the complete authenticity of the campaign season, but it goes along with the Democrats way of thinking anymore. Hillary completely botched her role as Secretary of State, with nearly everything she touched turning south, and she is seeking a promotion. DWS did not uphold her responsibilities as DNC chair, a position that is supposed to be fair to all candidates and not pick favorites, and now she is not being held accountable by HIllary's team by being able to join her campaign. Hillary and Obama are so out of touch anymore that I really think Trump's push for an outsider may push him across the finish line this year despite his high negatives.
  18. Actually, your one-line response to how I distinguished between MLK Jr's movement in the 1960s to today's BLM movement didn't deserve a response. If only Obama, Sharpton or Jesse Jackson had an ounce of MLK Jr in them I believe the racial tensions would be much calmer today. Are you stating that you don't agree with MLK Jr or believe he was a preacher of peace?
  19. Obama's half-brother is not a US citizen and can't even vote in the election. Wow, just what the Dems seem to prefer...dead or non-citizens voting for them. In all seriousness, it's the principle that matters here that Obama's brother is even so disgusted by him that he is not willing to vote for Barack's 3rd term in Hillary Clinton.

  21. Wow such tragic news. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Foltz and Sadler.
  22. More bad news for the Dems ahead of the DNC. It looks like Obama's brother is disappointed in Barack's performance as POTUS and is voting for Trump. http://nypost.com/2016/07/24/why-obamas-half-brother-says-hell-be-voting-for-donald-trump/ And it looks like the DNC asked media outlets to slant their coverage against Bernie. http://nypost.com/2016/07/24/emails-show-dems-trying-to-slant-coverage-against-sanders/
  23. More proof that the DNC was in the tank for HIllary. If I were Bernie I would pull a Ted Cruz and change my endorsement. I just saw that Stein has asked Bernie to unendorse Hillary. Just as the RNC convention had some bumps along the way, this will be a huge story all week with many Bernie protesters expected to show up. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bernie-sanders-campaign-chief-accountable-dnc-emails-show/story?id=40825318
  24. I would not limit the sarcasm to just cable news as NBC, ABC, and CBS nightly news are just as bad. They can be more subtle about it but will push those stories to meet their agenda.
  25. No...i think many on here and around the nation would prefer them. Of the 2 picks I think Pence helps Hillary more than Kaine helps Hillary. Progressives are not in love with Hillary, and Kaine is not exciting them. Trump already has appeal to the independents and the blue collar middle class and needed to get a higher percent of Conservatives. Pence will help him with that. With the wikileaka showing the DNC rigged the primary, I look for Jill Steins numbers to go up.
