  1. we held...that is good, all things considered...
  2. wondering why we don't have a jet sweep in our playbook?
  3. Gregory was the unsung hero of the game. I don't know how many qb hurries he had, but it seemed like he hit the qb with bad intentions on every other pass. He had a fantastic game. I only saw one missed assignment when he ducked inside and let Colter move around the end. Other than that, he was a beast
  4. this....He really played horribly when he first got in...he had a good series and completed a 11 in 1000 pass at the end of the game. Loved it, but let's stay in the real world here
  5. looked like a completely different team playing defense in the second half. Now if we could just do the same on offense. You can tell the team loves to run. But we called way too many deep passes yesterday. That is not our game. Also, why didn't we pass in the flat to Ameer? Getting him in open space is going to almost always end positively for us
  6. I think it was Michael Rose who said they were playing too robotic and just need to react. That really said it all to me.
  7. There are plenty, I assure you. Here's a list I've come up with, and I'm sure there are more that I've forgotten. Not to mention that that I highly doubt this team will achieve 9 wins this year. Chris Petersen Gary Patterson Mark Richt Tim DeRuyter Bobby Petrino Mike Riley Craig Bohl Scott Frost Kirby Smart Art Briles Al Golden Greg Schiano Charlie Strong Jon Gruden Dan Mullen Jim Tressel Dave Doeren Terry Bowden I could list a bunch of coaches too. Doesn't mean any of them have any interest in coaching here. But by all means, just keep throwing sh#t against the wall and hope it'll stick. take out Peterson, Patterson, Richt, Petrino, Bohl, Briles, Golden, Gruden, Tressel, Bowden. Most would not come here, some are cheats, and some just aren't strong enough to be here
  8. I have supported Bo to my doubting friends to the point of yelling back and forth. But after this game, I am done. I will cheer for the team, but I am convinced (finally) that Bo is not the guy. We are moving backwards, just like we were under Frank. I supported the firing of Solich because, even though he had 9 wins, the program was not moving in the right direction. We are back to that point. It's groundhog day, people. Mr. Eichorn it is time to take a deep breath and pull the trigger at the end of the season. Give Bo the rest of the season. That will give Eichorn time to do a detailed covert study of who would be best to turn this ship around. Then open up the purse strings and go get the guy!!!!!
  9. I am not so sure it would take 3-4 years with the right staff. I think we have athletes. They are just not being coached up. As for "only" being able to get an upper tier/lower conference coach, there have been a lot of successful coaches that have come from those ranks....currently, Gary Pinkel is having fantastic success at Misery. I have to say, I am pretty intrigued by the Frost love. Only one year as coordinator, but I believe the Ducks are the only team ever to open a season scoring at least 45 points in it's first 6 games (think I heard that on TV on Sportscenter). I would say he is doing a pretty good job, and at least worthy of a long look.
  10. Armstrong needs to start, but it is not an indictment of TM. He is hurt to the point where he cannot run effectively. A running threat who cannot run versus a young QB who is healthy and can pass better than TM. Not a hard decision. Play TA.
  11. The offense not being able to keep the D off the field to catch their breath, make adjustments, etc. absolutely can affect the defense. So can turnovers. So your statement is absolutely false my friend. this...
  12. umm...yeah....can you figure this stuff out BEFORE we lose....just once please!
  13. sorry, but I don't get the faith in Randle. He really hasn't been a factor all year long. If we are having a youth movement then play collins and let him learn on the job. If he gets pushed out of place a few plays it will be the same as having Randle in there getting pushed around the whole game
  14. Tom had no head coaching experience either and that worked out OK...and, no, the title of associate head coach is not the same thing
