We have got to have enough resources to pay off SE and Riley. Boosters surely have enough bank to get rid of this situation. If we do'nt have those types of boosters, then this program is going to fail, and fail to a level that won't become rebuildable.

Booster will have to offer up enough bank to get rid of all of the past contracts including SE's. All the booster will have to be all in. Can't be just a few, but all of the boosters with bank. If we have those bankers left ???? You complete the buyouts, and then get Frost. You give Frost 7 years minimum. Its going to take 3 years to get rid of the trash he inherits and then recruit his own players. Blind guy can see that this program is not going forward. Frost would at least get players to play hard, leave it all on the field.

This was lack of preparation, stupidity, and irrelevance at its best. Bob Stoops should be asked first about coaching. If that doesn't fit his interest then ask about AD. Scott Frost is who I think should be asked to coach. He knows the program inside and out. Knows who and how to recruit to this program. He would have T.O's support and mentorship. Bring back some former players and coaches if need be to re-establish tradition and identity. This program is down alot further than anyone wants to admit. Now is the time stop the free fall. If this school waits another month or till seasons over, we won't have anything left. I do believe we some good pieces, but not near enough to compete against major d-1 schools. Oregon didn't do this program or staff any favors last week calling off the dogs. They should have hung 80 on this program and this game wouldn't have been such a surprise. Hell, NIU, didn't even open the playbook until they trailed briefly!

Les Miles no way. He as inept in big games, but did recruit players like Fournette and others. Bob Stoops or Scott Frost. Go now, do it now, stop waiting for a rebirth of a nice guy who never belonged here. Go back to Corvallis, ride you trail bike and live it up on our tab!!!!

Even if they win by running the ball this game, its going to be the same sh#t show for the rest of the season. Actually losing this game is the best thing for the program.

LIne play is to blame for some, but your QB isn't helping the line. Get rid of the ball to dump down hot receiver. Quit throwing the game away literally.

I would rather have an offense that can score on anyone, than watching this. Bend but don't break defense is ok, when you can score.

Keeping Lee in is a sign of bullheadedness stubborn coaching. At least go to another QB for a few plays. That doesn't mean that Lee is done. Sometimes you have a bad few quarters, I mean really....

Sometimes pride should kick in some as well. Even the players don't act like they are in the game today. WE should have enough talent to even play thru some mistakes.........not defending Lee or Coaching, but wheres the pride?

Message Boards are for the fans to rant and rave on. They are not for recruiting. Troll some other boards out there and you will see on each one where a few want Saban fired. Urban Meyer fired............! IF we lose recruits because of some message board comments, then they weren't meant to wear Husker Red. One more season like what we have had, 9-4 or 8-5 or worse and this program will start to tear its self down to a point of no return. Losing a Thanksgiving showcase game(Eichorst is lying) is just the start of losing some clout within the Big 10. Eichorst could care less about Huskers playing on Black Friday, but our fans and maybe even certain boosters think other wise. Sorry SE, you can't really escape this one either. Douche Bag central. How in the world can such a prideful school hire such bafoons as AD's? How?

Eichorst is not doing whats in the best interest of Nebraska. He is still eying Wisky after Barry retires. SE knows that his ride in this state is short lived. Trev Alberts is in waiting. Scott Frost is waiting. Hell, Bob Stoops might be waiting........doubtful, but...........? It seems to me that the Big 10 is daring Nebraska to become relevant once again, are we willing to do what it takes to do so?

Many good points made here, but no one is really addressing the major issue and thats the fact that the Big 10 is now turning its back on Nebraska in a huge way. They set up this Iowa thing. They were pushing this item. Now all of a sudden, its time to rotate. Whose really pushing this idea? Wisky, Minny, Maryland, Penn ST or who? Reality of this matter is the Big 10 is going down the same path as the Big 12 did. Money and those who make the money for the conference. That is Michigan, Ohio St, and Penn St. They are in the national spot light. They are recruiting in the upper level. I get it. What have you done for me lately attitude. Big 12 pushed Nebraska out of its comfort level and made Texas and OU its bell cows. Big 10 is doing the same thing, but in a more subtle way. This is why its time to either make the program great again or settle in for what Iowa has been for decades in the Big 10 and thats a feel good story every 5 or 10 years. Once in a blue moon contending for conference crowns and playing a meaningful bowl game.

Bob Stoops would be the first call made. Scott Frost after that. Big game Bob has a recruiting reputation that not many have in the game today. He would be first call, and last call. Checkbook wide open!
