MS State has beaten 3 straight Top 5 teams. Their schedule is brutal. That's the ONLY reason why they might not finish high in the polls. Neither LSU nor Texas AtM are "Top 5 teams." They're barely top 25 teams. That's the problem with early polls. yeah LSU is not a top 25 team this year. ATM idk, maybe top 25 but definitely not top 15 I still think LSU will finish 9-4 and ranked in the Top 25. Could be our bowl opponent.

You put a guy like Nick Saban in Lincoln, and guys would flock there to play for him. Location has nothing to do with it.

The playoff is nothing but a pipe dream. This team is not playoff material. However, reaching the CCG is a realistic goal, simply because of the easy schedule.

If you think Oxford or Starkville have anything even remotely close to what's available in Lincoln, you are sadly mistaken. Mississippi is no hotbed of talent, either.

Anything less would be a disappointment in my opinion. There isn't a team left on the schedule that we shouldn't beat. I fully expect them to make it to the CCG... I don't expect them to win it, though.

The entire nation was laughing at USC/Kiffin for offering someone in 8th grade. Kids develop diff. and might not turn out to be anything by the time they are seniors. Btw, what ever happened to that kid? Did he end up going to USC? Serious question. No, I'm not mad at all that they didn't offer him. I'm mad because they made no communication at all. They could have invited him to their QB camp, sent him a letter, anything. They had a 2-year head start that I gave to them, all it would take is 5 minutes to watch the film that THEY requested I send, and they obviously didn't do it.
