  1. Addison, Frost and Tressell arent the top 2 choices, they are the most LIKELY to happen (as per Vegas). I dont pretend to know the AD and his toughts, but i highly doubt Frost is in the top 3 on his list - just not enough HC experience.
  2. you apparently arent a betting man thats the whole point of the odds.
  3. Florida is pushing hard for Mullen. Michigan is after Harbaugh.
  4. people make it sound like this guy was doing this job fro free. He got paid MILLIONS and will get another 7 MILLION dollars. DOnt feel sorry for the guy. He will get roughly 30 MILLION dollars since he has been here. If you want to feel sorry for someone, feel bad for the players.
  5. I want to see how all of the "Fire Bo" haters play defense next year, now that they are no longer on offense. I hope to see Scott Frost make an announcement before I go back to work tomorrow. Otherwise, you guys better stock up on Dramamine, it's might be rough sailing with the Seniors that were leaving already. Most of us already have a large stock of Dramamine from the last 7 years of letdowns.
  6. I think Bo created a big divide over the last several years. The "us against the world" mentality created divides between the fans, coaches and players. His "my way" and ego created a divide between the boosters, former players and administration, especially after tape-gate. In all the divide, I would hope that after this termination we could come together again, as a fan base. No more "Bo-lievers" vs "bo-haters". No more team vs the world. Lets all come together, accept today's actions for what the are. Lets support our players, our temporary staff (as much as i hate cotton), the administration to find the best possible candidate to lead us back to being relevant on the national stage. As for me, I would be happy with Tressell, Patterson, McElwain, Fuente (Memphis), Dan Mullen (probably going to Florida), Mark Hudspeth or Doc Holliday, I just want a proven head coach, no more OC/DC experiments.
  7. i think we can count on Gregory going to the NFL draft this year
  8. Art Briles or Gary Patterson. Both have good ties to the texas talent, proven coaches, developed players and have won with different coordinators/players.
  9. Dont we see the same post every year? Its part of football. Every team has contributors that get banged up in Spring, fall camp, games and practice. If that will be our excuse for poor performance and losing game, then get used to it because it will happen every year. The staff need to focus on recruiting more depth and developing younger/backup players more. Because every year you are going to lose people to injury, behavior, academics, or family/personal issues.
  10. We dont seem to develop our QBs all that well. If i remember, Martinez's biggest leap was when he was visiting Calhoun (QB trainer). Not sure if Beck needs to be more involved or maybe Ganz needs to be . Either way, we havent been excellent in QB development. We need to move Brown to the QB coach, he seems to excel at developing players. I thought we had great TE's, McNeil and Reed, when he was their position coach The RB's have been stellar under Brown; Helu, Burkehead and now Ameer. Brown may not be a great X and O guy, but that man has a history of developing and motivating his players.
