I don't think Urban Meyer or any other top tier coach will ever come to Lincoln. Maybe you will get lucky finding an assistant coach who turns out to be the next Dabo Swinney. I had certainly never heard of him before he went to Clemson. For Nebraska to reach the BIG championship game would be quite an achievement. To win the BIG championship would shock me.

Ohio State wins out they are in. No two loss team will make the CFP. Final four (in order of rank): Alabama, Clemson, OSU, and either Louisville or Washington. Alabama is the only team that can lose and still get in. I realize Louisville & Washington's schedules are not impressive, but the committee will take the one loss team over a two loss team.

As a long time Ohio State fan I cannot understand how Nebraska can keep Pellini around just because he wins 8 or 9 games. All these years gone by since Nebraska was relevant in any national championship conversation tells me he needs to go. Earl Bruce and John Cooper had better records than Pellini and both got fired. Both of these coaches spent most of there tenure at OSU ranked in the Top 10 and still got fired. It would appears that mediocrity has become the norm at NU.
