Bitterness abounds. I will miss the Huskers, I wish they were not leaving, but they are. I am a little bitter, but I understand what all happened. I think posting things that are negative and crude does not show any fan base in the best light. I hope A&M plays well, am shocked and unhappy that NU lost against Washington and hope they play well next year. I am not sure what the bitter banter, dire predicitons and crass taunts get anyone... Unless they are Mizzou fans, then forget all this and it is on...

The Holiday Bowl is pretty sweet. That said, playing Washington is NOT. I thought I remember you guys taking them completely to the woodshed earlier. Not a fact that will likely raise interest and attendance on either side. Especially theirs...

This quote is both high quality and very true (not just about Nebraska fans, but fans in general) Most play callers wait for it to be stopped before switching. Wats apparently waits for one bad snap and throws the wildcat out the window. I thought most play callers on both O and D would try to stay one step in front of the other - but that could just be me. I feel if he did do what you suggested, he might be criticized for continuing to do something even when it was obviously not working. Zoogies, you are never gonna win this. People don't want reason, they want blame. I watched the game w/ 2 friends on the fire Wats bandwagon. At any given point they were screaming "Why the F@^% are you passing, we should be running the ball!! Stupid Watson!" ......2 plays later......."Why do you keep running the ball, throw it!!Stupid Watson!" .....on the GREAT 4th down call......."I'll never criticize you again Shawn Watson" ......2 minutes later........"Stupid Watson!I hate you Shawn Wastson!!" ...when Martinez is melting down......."Get him out of there. Run the wildcat!!Stupid Watson!" ...when Burkhead fumbles a bad snap....."Why do you keep running that play! Stupid Watson!" One of them even called for Pelini to be fired. Disappointing loss but we got manhandled in the 2nd half. Oline got destroyed and freshman QB came apart. I do have some concerns about play calling. I have more concerns about the fumbles, penalties, and just over-all lack of execution. It has been happening for too long and I think that has to go back to coaching. Having Martinez hurt for much of the year means you have to get another QB ready and is time taken away from his development. The kid is worse than Jamal Lord at getting rid of the ball (unless he is fumbling it). He also takes RIDICULOUS hits. He will never make it four years as a QB if he doesn't learn to protect himself better.

While I know there are some real upsides to a Big 10 membership, I think the distance is going to be a real negative. It will be much harder to make road games in the future. I do think Iowa will become the real rival, due to being the neighboring state and the best drive (while still not a good one). Your uniforms even contrast well with theirs

Everyone always has things they can do better. I would say the Huskers had a good season. The team was very good, all losses were close and there were not that many of them. I know they could have done better, but Bo has the Huskers consistently playing well. I wish if anything could change, his meltdown at A&M could have been a little more controlled, as that sort of thing can be more defining than the game. I know this team could have done better, but it won some big games too. You guys beat Okie State and Mizzou as good wins and got 8 more besides. I am not going to say always look to next year, but this was at least a good year, where Nebraska establishes that it competes for National titles every year.

Best of luck. The Huskers will make that conference a lot more interesting once you are playing there next year. I still wish it didn't happen, but that is life.

Well, everyone thinks highly of their team, it is pretty normal. Should be a good game, odds are you will lose, but those are pretty close odds, so I plan to enjoy watching what I think will be a good game. Not many of those involving my favorite team of late.

Not so sure the state of Texas wanted to host you all. That and A&M finally is decent...

If the Big 12 melts down, we may be there with them. I have never thought we end up in the Mountain west, nor do the kitties and Cyclones... Maybe even the Tiggers...

I thought Bo did OK considering how pissed he was.... I actually think he did better than OK, I would go so far as to say well.

As a nuetral party who actaully likes both schools quite a bit, I would say there is a bit of a mix. Some of the calls Bo was losing his mind over did not deserve that reaction. The late hit coms to mind as a call that maybe should not have had the flag thrown, but I do wonder if Bo being so over the top had begun to even effect the refs judgement. I think there a few things for the Husker fans to fairly point at, as well. I do think Bo letting himself get so out of control did not help. It was a tough fought defensive game. I think in the end, what really cost the Huskers is that A&M really played good defense. I think you can fairly be annoyed at some at the refs, which you cannot control but seemed unfair at times, but also at how well your team moved the ball (which you can) and how Bo acted (which probably did not help the team's attitude nor the refs). In football and in life, you can only fix the things you control, and if that had happened I think the Huskers would have won. I would credit A&M with a hard fought win. They were not the better team, but they fought and gave it everything they could win. The Husker's great defense is still just that, and you are still likely to have your day in the title game. I also understnad that if anyone got the edge from calls, it was A&M. I would still encourage classy behaviour. I can tell you the A&M fans are world class and the "troll" was't too troll like in his comment. I don't know how he was supposed to respond to the cursing he got for what was a pretty good post. Nebraska has a great fan base, so while I will likely take a lashing too, I would encourage losing with dignity to some of you. When things go poorly, that is when people's true colors show.

It is a lot scarier when Bo does it. Not because one is less passionate, Bo just is more intimidating in his appearance.

Stay Classy Pasadena, no matter what else when we are gone. Hate to see that get lost in the move.

I would say cut the guy some slack. HE gets attention everywhere he goes and I think very few of us (me among them) truly understand what it would be like to have a ton of people constantly trying to interact with you for no regular reason (AKA interupting your life continually)and almost every interaction you have with someone is a huge part of how they think of you. Maybe he was preoccupied, late for something, not paying attention, etc. I am not saying you have no right to not want a fist bump, but if this is the worst thing he does as a public figure... I would just say that most people think being famous is cool, and for a while and in some cases it probably is, but it also must be somewhat tiresome and a bit of a pain in the butt... For every one Suh or Tebow there are literally 100 that don't handle it nearly a tenth as well.

You're just trying to lul us into a false sense of security! I wish... But I guess that is why they play the games. I otouhgt we had an outside distant chance against ISU because at least the talent gap was smaller. CU was an even better chance, and that took a miracle. GIven that we have a huge talent gap AND execution gap, I really don't like our odds.

We are gonna whup you Huskers, you got no chance! You are so going DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN. We will own this rivalry for all of History. We will send you out with a horrid beating. My Predictions... Under Prediction on Score 42-10 Nebraska due to Bo taking his foot off the pedal early due to TG.... We could lose by a lot more if Bo wants to make an issue of it. I may not be able to bring myself to get the Pay per view, but I probably will cause... I don't know why, I just will.

I was at that game. My first UConn game, it was sort of interesting. As for Pitt, the QB could not hit an open WR most of the game to save his life. They ran the ball well and their defense was mediocre, but it was hard to watch guys that open and they couldn't get a pass. The QB even had some time.... It was a fun game though. The Huskers would kill either one of those teams though. I think KU would give both of those teams a game, actually, althought this year I am not predicting we beat anyone for obvious reasons.

I saw them on ESPN. The game was not on TV, so the camera work was not world class...

Suh won't make it in the NFL!!! ...as a place kicker. I just saw him come in as a backup kicker for the Lions, he missed his first try at an extra point. Did he ever place kick as a Husker? Maybe I missed it, but I did not know he dabbled as a kicker... Now if the ball needed a good smashing, he is your man.

Yeah, being up in the fourth Quarter 45-17 and losing 52-45 is not good. I'll take it though, I am a desperate man. Our last 3 games are against top 25 teams, so this was pretty much my only hope for 3 wins. You never know till they play the games, but I have a feeling I need to enjoy this one a lot. Hawkins was out either way, so I guess this doesn't change much for him.
