In fact, I asked a mod for usernames from Marshfield, WI from a mod earlier today and, while he confirmed two accounts posted from there he would not give up usernames. (My question MAY have been how they figured out that Jessica0 was posting under two user accounts, however. I don't know.)

Look, from a "Game of Life" perspective, this is "the contract". The NU contract will have to be enough that he would never need to work again. He could send all 10 of his future children to Harvard, Yale or Columbia, and have no worries for the rest of his life even if the NU contract was never extended and his 5 or 6 year run was all he got. He could go live anywhere in the world that he wants to, after that. Being the competitor that he is, however, I don't expect him to be satisfied with that. I think he wants to be enshrined on the Nebraska Mount Rushmore with Devaney & Osborne.

They must have had something in an attempt to sweeten the deal, but all Kelly's agent did is pocket it and thank them for raising the bid. Kelly gives Florida the narrative that they didn't really miss out on the pupil (SF) because they preferred the teacher (Kelly). Missing out on Kelly and having to go in a whole different direction means that they were spurned by their top two choices. It's a bad look.

Serious question: If UCF wins out (regular season vs USF and American Championship vs Memphis St.) they will be in a Jan. 1 Bowl Game. How would that play out, assuming we have an agreement with SF? I'm guessing that their staff would stay to coach that, but that those traveling with Scott would be doing some recruiting for NU?
