  1. It's not the refs...it's the coaching. THE COACHING SUCKS
  2. Serously..why do people want to give these clowns more time?
  3. Westerkamp must think he has died and gone to hell
  4. So who's in for more time? Maybe 5 years will do it
  5. Let's not ever read the ball...just follow your man like a good little player
  6. Wow...great time out call...let's just give them a free huddle on our ten yard line
  7. Wow I forgot what a qb sack looked like. I bet Banker called the wrong play
  8. Same staff, same results. It's ok they we'll just give them more time
  9. Oh won't you be, won't you be, won't you be my neighbor
  10. Guys I think we just need to give Riley and his neighbors some more time.
  11. Can we please get rid of this clown staff now and just cut ties with how ever much money it takes to get them to leave?
  12. There's no point. The less excuses thus staff has to grab onto, the better. I don't want these guys getting more time because we made a bowl game at 6 - 6
  13. I don't care how awful this sounds...I want the team to tank so we get a new lease on life as a program. The sooner this circus is over, the better
  14. You have one job...run the ball and get the clock to 15 seconds. Of all the running plays, you run a bootleg? For what reason. Yardage has no relevance in this situation. Why the deception? Ridiculous play call that put all 11 players in complete danger. Even if Tommy capped the bed, so did the other 10 players who clearly didn't know the play. Coaching 100% at fault.
  15. No Thanks Who Is that guy coaching for Michigan, I want that guy, call his agent At worst with Frost this year we are 2-3 I bet he doesn't run a bootleg against Illinois though so most likely 3-2Better yet if he did run a bootleg he wouldn't bury his qb by claiming it was a running play
  16. doesnt he also do "more with less?" Yes he does due to the height, weight, and recruiting limitations of coaching at Air Force. He runs option from the I-Formation, Flexbone (Double Wing), Shotgun. But the great thing is, his offense is not purely option football. They also run the ISO, toss sweep, zone plays, etc. And summer hours they are allowed, along with practice hours in a week...He completely over achieves there. He's the guy we should have but there are others I would be fine with. I like the football played by Air Force. My only concern is recruiting. Does AF even recruit? I doubt they have to deal with many character issues either. If you want to go with a service academy guy then go with the guy at Navy. They have beaten Army 13 years in a row, beat Notre Dame a couple years ago, and for a service academy, they are pretty good every year. Othewise, has anyone suggested Frank Solich, that guy at Ohio University? I heard he wasn't too bad. Ken Nematolololololololololololo or whatever his name is wouldn't be a great fit because the lack of diversity to the offense. It's why I don't like Paul Johnson. Does navy put up with the same restrictions as Calhoun has to deal with at Air Force? Man, Navy has some of the craziest recruiting restrictions in the country, if not the craziest. Niumatalolo is worth at least one interview minimum.
  17. I'd interview Frost and Niumatalolo I can't help but think Niumatalolo is just a blatant gold mine all of the fbs is ignoring
  18. The reason Richt scares me is that while he does recruit very well, I believe he has struggled for identity and game management in big games. I think Nebraska geographically and historically is in a weird position where they would benefit greatly from a unique style of play, like the triple option. Makes me wonder what a coach like Niumatalolo could do if he was allowed to establish the option offense again. Surely his recruiting efforts wouldn't be taken lightly, given his background? I'd rather take advantage of a unique style than try to woo all the elite recruits to come to Nebraska. You'd have to believe a well drilled option team would have killed off a couple of these games this season, at least.
  19. I'm pretty sure this post sums up a lot of the feeling of the fans. The last two play calls were just jaw dropping, given that two run plays would give Illinois the ball back with on or about 15 seconds. It was unbelievable to see that type of play calling and confusion unfold in the way it did. Literally taking a knee twice would have done worlds better than whatever the coaches were trying to accomplish here. And on the 2nd point, I believe you have described something that I've been struggling to articulate to my buckeye friends for so long. When Ohio State has their backs against the wall, you just know...you get the feeling many plays ahead that a defender will step up and make a play to end the game. For Nebraska, you just knew once our coaches botched all that was able to be botched, you just knew we would lose. Even when it was Illinois...I had no hope whatsoever that anyone would step up and make a play. It was over the second that ball dropped on 4th down. No doubt in my mind. No matter how well the defense played prior to that play. It was over before they took the field for one last stop. Such is the intangible state of Husker football today. And it is sad really.
  20. I agree...I re-watched several times now and it was a designed pass play. That or the coaches called a run and the entire offense ran the wrong play. Either way it's an embarrassing situation for our "coaching" staff.
  21. Can't we just hire Niumatalolo and get back to it?
  22. And one of our other losses is to a team that lost to a mid major, and their fans are paying to fly planes across the country to get him fired... Make it stop
