personally i would rather Bo takes his time and finds the right coach instead of just hiring someone to have a coach in place before a certain time (spring practice). I am sure that Bo would be able to handle the DB's during the spring practices.

Two, birth control pills are not only prescribed for anti-baby-making. There are other issues like acne and other things having to do with the female reproductive system. Three, condoms are over the counter. Birth conrol medication is not. And I can't think of anything over the counter that insurance covers. 1. side effect of this medication could cause unwanted facial hair 2. if they need to take birth control to stop acne, they might be confused about what the white stuff on her face actually is 3. really???? i did not know that you could buy condoms over the counter, hell it wouldnt suprise me if they started handing them out in schools somewhere. I dont know if this has been posted yet, but I saw on Scout.com that Mike Shoff committed to SDSU. Nebraska boy who was one of maybe 3 Nebraska players that have even been rated by Scout.com with 3 stars. I'm sure that the coaching staff was hoping for Mike to walk on. I am happy for Mike that he has a full scholarship to pay for his education and will have the chance to continue to play football at the next level. I am a little disappointed in the staff for not taking a chance with this kid, and wanted to know how many others out there are that are upset or are fine with the staffs decision. discuss

there are items out there but it would be nice if they could get better. jerseys are the main thing. limited numbers to choose from and the quality of the "replica" sucks in my book, and authentic jerseys are hard to get and cost way to much.

He is a senior and supposed to be a leader of the team and supposed to be setting the example for the underclassmen to follow. Bo doesn't have a choice but to set the example now

I dont think that Bo is relieved at all and here is why. 1. Carl has been a good recruiter and was responsible in bringing in quite a few players. Going to be hard to replace that, and it will have to be done quickly in order to build a relationship with the players that were recruited this year by Carl. 2. Bo now has to find another coach to fill the staff. Is that person already identified? If not, now Bo has to take time that should be devoted to bowl game prep and focus on finding a replacement. like the old saying goes, sometimes it is cheaper to keep her, but sometimes you just have to let the bitch go

played against Tom Rathman in HS. He was a senior and i was a Sophmore. I came in for an injured player and tackled him twice. caused 1 fumble. That was our only win of the year and their only loss of the regular season. We won 15-14 or 14-13 with a last second TD and conversion.

Couldn't agree more! Last year we turned the ball over to OU 3 times in the B12 CG and only lost by 3 pts. While no one likes to turn the ball over, it should not always mean 7 pts for the opp. We have to get some stops in order to win big games. This O is not unstoppable, but it can score. The D needs to step up and start stopping people. That said I believe the second half of tOSU the entire team came out loose and ready to rely on their instincts and coaching. exactly. hopefully the second half gave both sides of the ball a big boost of confidence for the young players, and the coaches find the right combinations of players on defense and blocking schemes on offense.

the offense is not the problem with this years team. the problem is the defense. unless the defense can keep the other team from scoring more than you do, you lose. the game with wisconsin, their defense gave our offense fits, but we were still able to score 17 points. the blackshirts could not contain Wilson and the badger offense rolled. offense wins games but defense whens championships

Defensive linemen get good stats when Defensive Backs have good coverage and cause the QB to keep the ball longer and longer. But when a QB can get rid of the ball in 3 seconds or less, it will be real hard to get a sack.

If the NU defense does not learn how to contain a mobile QB, then Mechicken will be a tough one to win
